President s Message And not a pleasant one. The day before our February 22nd Member Meeting, scheduled as the last one to be held at Coppola s On 9, several club members reported seeing a large C L O S E D banner on the building. The transition from restaurant to credit union building had assumed a faster pace than the one of which we had been informed. With less than 24 hours to relocate the meeting to our new venue it was decided to cancel. Thanks Craig for wasting no time in getting out the word via FaceBook and email. Thanks also to Pat Marsh and Keith Faucher for their work on the relocation committee and especially to Keith for identifying Umberto s as a potential meeting location and for arranging and scheduling our March 1 and 15 Member Meetings at yet another Route 9 venue... our 3rd one. With local snow almost completely melted and with four of this season s six ski trips completed the imminent transition from winter to spring cannot be denied, even though not all of us may be ready. However, there remains ample opportunity to enjoy more snow. Check out the HVSC web site for information about (and registration for) the three Bus-To-Mount-Snow Sunday trips scheduled for February 26, as well as the March 13-16 trip to Attitash, NH. And, finally, Mark Searle reports that he will have 9 lift tickets to be raffled at the March 1 meeting. 22 Trails * 100% Snowmaking * 3 Quad Lifts * Close to home!
