September 2016 Chartered in 1987 Message from the President Ladies, September is last month of our EWI fiscal year. This past year has flown by, and I very much appreciate the many ways you have shown your support these past months. Please get involved on a committee if you are not already signed up to do this for our upcoming new year. It is one of the best ways I know to understand this organization better and see the impact it has. You will also make lifelong friends, working together on projects. The big annual fundraiser is tonight (September 8 th ). Our Barnyard Auction has been renamed EWI Gras, and there will be a few differences in how the prize winners are chosen. However, it will still be the same great fun event where you can try to win some really nice prizes for a small bit of cash. If you have not donated yet, we really need the donations now. Please let Kelly McCoy or Charlie Rosenquist know as soon as possible what your gift items are. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all those who have donated and sponsored tables so far. Everyone s support is essential for this event to be a success. Six of us will be going to LCAM this year in Spokane, Washington. Be watching for updates on our adventure there. Don t forget your opportunity to earn credits toward your leadership certificate this year by listening to the monthly webinar, attending the monthly chapter meeting or board meeting, and getting involved in a committee.
