SANCTION: HOST: LOCATION: FACILITY: RULES: NOBLESVILLE SWIM CLUB This meet is sanctioned by USA Swimming and Indiana Swimming. Sanction number IN13055. Noblesville Swim Club Noblesville High School: 1811 Cumberland Road, Noblesville, IN. The high school is located one block west of State Road 37 and ½ mile north of State Road 32. Short course, 25 yard pool, eight lanes with non turbulent lane markers, three additional warm up lanes in diving well. Electronic Colorado timing system, touch pads, back up buttons with digital watch back up. Spectator seating located above pool. No charge for parking. The pool depth at the start end is 4 6. The pool is not certified in accordance 104.2.2C(4). Current USA Swimming and Indiana Swimming rules will govern this meet. Coaches MUST constantly display their USA Swimming coach credential to gain deck access. The meet referee reserves the right to inspect for coach credential and will deny deck access if the coach does not comply or card is no longer valid. Please send this proof with your club s entries. Swimmers must be registered with USA Swimming to be accepted into this meet. Age as of 02 Nov 2012, shall determine swimmer s age group for the entire meet. USA Swimming Rules 202.3.2 At a sanctioned competitive event, USA Swimming athlete members must be under the supervision of a USA Swimming member coach during warm up, competition, and warm down. The Meet Director or Meet Referee shall assist the athlete in making arrangements for such supervision. Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming member coach, must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. Swim Suit Legislation Effective Oct 1 2009 (102.9.1 B) In swimming competitions, the competitor must wear only one swimsuit in one or two pieces except as provided in USA Swimming Rule 205.10.1. All swimsuits shall be made from textile materials. For men, the swimsuit shall not extend above the navel nor below the knees, and for women, shall not cover the neck, extend past the shoulder, nor extend below the knee. Uses of audio or visual recording devices, including cell phones, are not permitted in the changing areas, rest rooms, or locker rooms. ENTRY LIMIT: All swimmers will be limited to swim 5 individual events per day plus a relay. This is a timed final meet. Entries submitted with an individual entered in more than this rule allows, he/she will be placed in the first events entered in numerical order. There will be no refunds except for entries which are not accepted or limited events due to time constraints prior to the start of the meet. Please note that Friday s 500 and Saturday s 1650 Free events may be limited due to time constraints. The 1650 Free will be seeded fastest to slowest and alternate girls and boys heats.

Swimmers must provide a timer and a lane counter. ENTRY FORMAT: DEADLINE: Computer/disk entries are preferred using HyTek Software. Any club with 5 or more swimmers with individual events MUST submit entries on disk or email, or pay a $50 data input fee. A printed copy of your entry is not necessary as the electronic data (i.e. the HyTek file) will be considered CORRECT. Enter swimmers using yard times only. Please avoid entering swimmers with NO TIMES if possible. Coaches may estimate times for NT swimmers to assist in properly seeding heats. All entry fees must be paid prior to the start of the meet. For email entries please send all payments and forms, including the Summary of Entries and Officials Sign Up, by U.S. Mail or other carrier prior to the start of the meet. Deck entries will be accepted at the discretion of the Meet Director. Changes after 19 Oct 2011 will be considered and the deck entry fee will apply. Entry fee for deck entries is double the regular entry fee. NOB swimmers may be given priority where heats are limited due to time constraints. All entries should arrive via email attachment (preferred) or via postal service or other delivery service. No hand deliveries by club personnel will be accepted. We will send acceptance/rejections by email so please include a valid email address for confirmation. If you do not have access to email, include a self addressed stamped envelope with your entries so that we may send you a confirmation. Entries will be accepted starting 24 Sep 2012. The entry deadline will be 19 Oct 2012 @ 6:00 PM or when the meet is full. We may accept entries after the deadline if the meet is not full. In the past this meet has been full so please submit your entries as early as possible. All swimmers MUST check in at the main pool entrance 50 minutes prior to the start of the session. Failure to check in may result in the swimmer being

scratched for the day. Remind swimmers that if they have entered both age group and open events, they must sign in on BOTH sheets where their name appears. CLERK OF COURSE: After check in, scratches will be deleted and a heat sheet with lane assignments will be made available to the coaches and one posted at each end of the pool deck area. There will be a Clerk of Course for the 8 and under events. AWARDS: High Point Awards for 1 st through 5 th per age group / gender (i.e., 8 & under, 9 10, 11 12, 13 14, 15 16 and open) Relay medals 1 st through 3 rd. 12 & under: Medals awarded for 1 st through 8 th, and ribbons for 9 th through 16 th for individual events. 13 14, 15 16, and open : Medals awarded for 1 st through 8 th, and ribbons for 9 th through 16 th for individual events. For Friday events, athletes will score points toward high point for their specific age group. For Saturday and Sunday events, athletes must swim in their appropriate age group to score points for high point. All awards will be given to the coaches after the meet. No awards will be mailed. Additional copies of the final results may be ordered for $6.00 each. ADMISSIONS: Fees will be posted at venue entry. ADDITIONAL: Locker rooms with shower and restroom are available; however, no lockers are available. Noblesville Swim Club will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items. Only Swimmers, coaches, officials, and on duty meet workers are permitted on the pool deck. Credentials MUST BE DISPLAYED by all coaches and officials. The Fire Marshall has determined a strict limit to the number of spectators permitted in the seating area. At NO TIME will more than this number be permitted into this area. No saving of seats is permitted in the seating area. No folding chairs or other items which obstruct the movement of spectators are permitted in the seating area or the aisles. Persons who violate these rules will be removed from the facility. No smoking permitted in the building or on the school premises. No glass containers allowed in the pool area. Swim merchandise will be available for sale. Breakfast, lunch and snack items will be available at our concession stand. SCHEDULE: Friday Afternoon Session (SESSION 1): Warm ups 4:30 to 5:25 PM Session Starts 5:30 PM (Check in down @4:45PM) Saturday & Sunday Morning Sessions (SESSIONS 2 & 5):

Warm ups 7:00 to 7:55 AM Session Starts 8:00 AM (Check in down @7:10AM) Saturday Afternoon Sessions (SESSION 3): Warm up will begin immediately after completion of the morning session, but not before 12:00pm. Warm up will last 55 minutes. Session will start one hour after warm up begins but not before 1:00 pm. (Check in down @ 12:10 pm) Saturday PM Sessions (SESSION 4): Continuous warm up in diving well. This session will use reverse and alternating gender seeding. Session will start one hour after warm up begins but not before 4:00 pm. (Check in down @ 3:30 pm) Sunday Afternoon Sessions (SESSION 6): Warm up will begin immediately after completion of the morning session, but not before 12:00 noon. Warm up will last 55 minutes.
