All litter and manure must be disposed of in a manner which does not present a risk of spread of disease i.e. in a sealed bag for normal refuse collection, so that other birds do not have direct access to it. All exhibitors must cleanse and disinfect any cages, crates or baskets they take to the show before the event and are advised to cleanse them on return home before using to hold another bird. The secretary requires the home and business address of poultry exhibitors - please ensure both are on the entry forms (if different). In the event of exhibited birds being kept at a different address, to that supplied prior to the show, please ensure these details are given to the secretary on the Show Day. Any birds sold on the Show Day must be reported to the secretary, with details of the purchaser's name and address (home and business). 9

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY. 1 No entry fees for Livestock Sections. 2 All Cattle and sheep exhibited must be grazed on the owner s Tiree holding for 6 MONTHS prior to the Show. 3 Confined classes Horses and Ponies must be owned and grazed on a Tiree holding for 6 MONTHS prior to Show. 4 Poultry to be on owned by exhibitor and on Tiree for 8 WEEKS prior to Show. 5 Cattle and Sheep entries are restricted to 2 animals per holding per class. 6 Poultry entries are restricted to 1 exhibit per exhibitor s holding per class. 7 Prime Lamb entries are not eligible to be shown in any other class. 8 Young Stockpersons Crossbred animals ONLY. Only 1 exhibit per exhibitor per class. This animal has to remain shown under YSP s name throughout the OPEN classes. Young Stockperson Exhibitor to be present exhibiting their stock. 9 All ages count from 1 st January for cattle. 10 Bull calves under 8 months are eligible for Bullock Classes. 11 All sheep to be scab free. 12 All sheep to have eartags and EID tags according to regulations. 13 Exhibitors to have their animals on the Showground by 10.00am. 14 Judging to commence at 10.30am. 15 Suitable articles may be substituted for money prizes. 16 ALL Stock to remain on the Showground until after the Prize Giving. 17 Cattle Passports to accompany animals and to be stamped at the Secretary s tent for ON movement to Show. Exhibitors are reminded to complete a BCMS movement BACK ONTO own holding. 18 Sheep movement records to be completed by exhibitor, including ear tag numbers, to Secretary s tent. Remember to complete a Sheep Movement BACK ONTO own holding. 19 Crofters Shields The TOTAL STOCKING on croft must not exceed 30 cows for Cattle Section and 100 sheep for Sheep Section. Exhibitors to register eligibility for Shields when registering their livestock movements on morning of Show. 20 BVD STATUS Only cattle from a BVD-Negtative herd can be moved to the Show without individually testing those animals prior to the Show. 11
