Crusader Alumni Newsletter February 2018 Greetings from Catholic High! Students have finished their Mid-term Exams. You remember those? There is always lots of study and anxiety. I don't miss doing corrections! The Second Semester just begun. This year is almost done. How time flies by! Our sports teams have begun their seasons. The Boys Basketball team is 10-3(overall) enjoying a successful start posting a winning record defeating potential playoff rivals. The Girls Basketball team also has had a good start with 6 wins under their belt. The girls are working hard every day to grow as a team. The Hockey team, a small roster of only 12 boys are staying competitive, getting goals and working hard. Unfortunately with such a small number of players they are having a hard time pulling out a win. They have heart, and their drive speaks volumes of what Crusaders are all about! The Cheerleading Squad will be going to the FCIAC competition this Saturday, February 3 rd in Wilton and to State competition in New Haven on March 3 rd. The girls have been working hard and know they will make us proud. Our Drama Program - include fall play Crusader Players are hard at work rehearsing for the production of Guys & Dolls. There is always much time and preparation for their performances. Mark your calendars and try to get to one! March 9 th, 10 th & 11 th. Click here for more information! There is always so much happening at the school, I could write for days! Overall we have a great group of students and the halls are always buzzing with exciting activities, friendships forming and memories being created. Take a minute every once in a while to think back of some of your memories from your time here. Our Annual Fund campaign is underway. We have already received many gifts from our parents, graduates, staff and friends. The participation of ALL of our graduates is so vital if we are to insure that the students of today receive the same and even better experience that you all remember and cherish. As you may remember last year we had an alumni annual giving participation competition which aligned with March Madness. Last year this competition raised our donor # by almost double, this year we are not only hoping for even more donors while also increasing the dollars $$ raised! More details will be sent in the coming weeks so spread the word to your classmates! *any alumni donation made now or during the month of march will be counted in the contest! It is my hope that each of you consider making a donation today! Click the button to donate!

Please keep Catholic High in your prayers each day.
