Principal s Report Year 6 Fair Congratulations to Mrs Shipley, our Year 6 teachers, parent helpers and Year 6 students for organising a fantastic Year 6 Fair last Tuesday. Students planned and stocked their own stalls and provided a range of fun activities and food choices for students K-6. This was a great day and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Well done.

Football Good luck to the students participating in the All School Rugby League Final on Thursday afternoon at McCredie Oval, Guildford at 4.30pm. Cross Country Good luck to the 15 students participating in the Sydney West Cross Country Carnival at Eastern Creek today. Dance Last Tuesday I had the privilege to sit in the audience of SYNERGY watching our senior dance group. Congratulations to our girls on a wonderful performance and thank you to Mrs Cook and Miss Rylewski for preparing the girls for the event. Sporting Achievements Congratulations to several students from Rouse Hill Public School on their wonderful representative sporting achievements. Sydney West 11 s Rugby League Saxon Pryke and Matthew Arthur travelled to Tamworth last week and represented Sydney West at the NSW Rugby League Championships. They were successful, winning the shield in a tight Grand Final. Sydney West Girls Soccer Ella Buchanan represented Sydney West at the NSW Girls Soccer Championships last week. They came in 3rd place. Amazingly for Ella she was then selected in the NSW Girls Soccer team. What an achievement! Sydney West Boys Soccer Congratulations to Josh Montgomery who has been selected in the Sydney West Boys Soccer team. He will travel to Bathurst next week for the Championship. Good luck Josh! Sydney West Boys Softball Jayden Brien had a very successful carnival for Ridges Softball and was selected in the Boys Softball Sydney West team. The NSW Softball Championships will be held at Curl Curl late in Term 3. Kind Regards David Jenkins Principal

THANK YOU A massive thank you to our community of knitters for the scarves, jumpers and beanies that have already been made to send to children in Nepal! A special acknowledgment to Mikayla Thompson s Grandmother, Mrs Thompson, who has made several bags of lovely colourful and warm beanies!! Later in the year these will all be taken to Nepal by one of our teachers, Mrs Izzard who works closely with a Nepalese school caring for children experiencing extreme poverty. It is wonderful to know that we belong to a caring community who not only care for our school but also care for those less fortunate than us!
