If you are intending to take College Credit Plus courses 2nd semester and are NOT a current College Credit Plus Student, your letter of intent must be turned into the Guidance by November 1st! Your application to OUC, OCU, and /or Southern State must also be turned in by this cate if you are a new CCP student. Remember YOU are responsible for submitting the completed application to the college directly! Homecoming Homecoming Dance is Saturday, Oct. 15th from 8-11pm students will enter the dance from the entrance closest to the YMCA near the MS gym to get to the dance in the cafeteria! Our court is filled with outstanding students, we play for SCOL titles at Wilmington on Thursday in Girls and Boys Soccer, and we play for the SCOL lead in football at the O against Clinton-Massie on Friday. It s going to be a great week leading up to the dance. Tickets will be sold in all three lunch starting today through the 13th $10 a person Get involved this week! Dress up and have fun! Homecoming Spirit week continues: Wednesday is Twin Day Thursday is Class T-shirt Day Any student bringing a non-chs guest must fill out a guest form & get it approved before the purchase of tickets. No guests of MS age or younger nor can guests exceed the age of 20 Students who have over 5 unexcused absences or any OSS prior to the Homecoming Dance are not permitted to attend Homecoming. This shouldn't be a schock. If you show up at the dance you will be removed from the premises. If you want to attend dances and take advantage of all we have to offer at CHS come to school, if you are absent turn in excuses to excuse absences, and don t be an idiot and get suspended for any reason. On the night of Homecoming the doors will opens at 8 pm and the dance will last from 8-11pm
Students will enter the Homecoming Dance from the entrance closest to the YMCA near the MS gym and go through the MS gym to get to the dance in the cafeteria. Students must have their tickets and school ID ready at check in. If you still need to buy tickets there will be a table to purchase tickets but you should still have your ID ready. If you don t have an ID you need to see Mrs. Patterson in the CHS Library to purchase one. Or see Mrs. Cheek in the CHS Main Office to get your DASL screen printed. No student, I don t care how well we know you, will be permitted to enter the dance without a picture ID as verification. Students will check in at the CMS Gym, go through the hallways where we will have wands and breathalyzers for each student to go through so make smart decisions, and then up to the cafeteria to enjoy the dance. Attention Theater & Film Lovers Attention to all theater and film lovers, starting this thursday the CHS Thespian Club will be hosting film screenings of well known film adaptations of famous plays and musicals, along with live performances that were videotaped for home viewing. These screenings will take place every other Thursday from 2:30 to 5pm in room 264 and are open to everyone. October s film includes: Oct. 20- The Rocky Horror Picture Show The thespian club and Mr. Smith both hope all interested individuals will attend. Olive Garden Fundraiser Who likes Olive Garden salad & breadsticks? Friday, October 14, before the Football game against Clinton-Massie, Chillicothe Boys and Girls, Basketball and Swimming teams will be hosting an Olive Garden Dinner Fundraiser. Dinner will be held in the Worthing Elementary cafeteria from 4:00-6:30pm. You can purchase your tickets from members and boosters of these teams for $5 and they will offer 3 Olive Garden pastas, breadsticks and salad. Get your tickets before they are gone.
