Maiden is a vibrant and growing community which should be reflected in our newsletter. We are partnering with a local printer who can produce a high-quality newsletter for the same price as the old format. We are also updating our website to be more mobile friendly keeping our citizens informed is one of my top priorities. Maiden has witnessed the expansion or creation of several new businesses this year. The Council and I would like to welcome 3 Hermanos Mexican Restaurant, Times Oil, Hardees, Sew Unique Boutique, Pool Patch Pros and Joe s Snow. We continue to look for economic development opportunities which will expand our tax base, create jobs and support local businesses. If you have any concerns about the Town, please feel free to contact me at 828-428- 5031. Sincerely, Robert L. Smyre
