National Honor Society Toys for Tots NHS will be sponsoring Toys for Tots drive this holiday season. The drive will begin Monday, November 26th and run through December 14th. There will be a donation box located in the library. The requirements are that all donated toys must be new and unwrapped. Please consider getting into the holiday spirit by showing your generosity and donating toys for families in need.
Leading Ladies Your next Mentoring meeting at EBSOLA is Monday the week after Thanksgiving. Mark your calendars for Monday, November 26th. Got books??? FBLA is currently conducting a book drive. All books collected will be donated to local elementary schools, the Shalom Center, and/or Women's and Children's Horizons. The drive goes until Friday, December 14th. Seniors The Bradford Alumni Association is awarding 15 scholarships in the amount of $21,773 for the 2019 graduating seniors. The application is on the Bradford Scholarship site and is due to Mrs. Mars April 10th. College Career Ever thought about becoming a UW-Milwaukee Panther following high school? Well here's your chance to see if you fit in as a Panther as there will be a field trip to the UW-Milwaukee campus on Friday December 7th. There is NO COST for this field trip and lunch will be provided. You will have an opportunity to tour the campus, see the facilities and housing, and meet with both students and professors during your visit. For permission slips, see Mr. Saling in room 216. Act fast, as there is a limited number of students able to go. Apprenticeship Program Juniors and Seniors, looking for a career in high paying job but don't feel you have the time or money to go to school? Then maybe a career in a trade and apprenticeship program is for you. Apprenticeships allow you to learn and earn money at the same time. Come hear about all careers within the trades on Wednesday, December 5 in the Bradford Cafeteria at 5:30 pm. A representative from the Big Step Apprenticeship Readiness organization will be there with information and to answer questions. Don't miss it!
Career Corner Interested in becoming a Police Officer, Nurse, Cosmetologist, or thinking about getting into the trades or construction? On Tuesday, December 11th, there will be reps from each of these professions here at Bradford in the morning to present information on what they do and how they got their respective professions.
