All exhibitors must have an exhibitor number. Please sign up on the form at the registration table. There is no registration fee. 3. Entry tags must be properly filled out showing Section Number, ADS Class Number, Name of Variety, with Exhibitor's Number as well as Name, and Address covered during judging. (Personal address labels are very useful for this purpose.) 3. All entries must be made in accordance with the current Official ADS classification list of class numbers. In case of an unknown or unlisted variety, (seedlings included), place the entry on the Classification Table where it will be classified by the Classification Committee. After classification by the committee, the Exhibitor has sole responsibility to place the entry in the correct section and class. 4. Undisseminated varieties must be entered in OPEN TO ALL Classes. The Classification Committee shall indicate by a notation on the entry tag how the undisseminated variety was classified. 5. All specimen blooms become the property of the Show Committee to be disposed of at the end of the show. No exhibit shall be removed prior to the closing of the show without the consent of the Show Chairman. 6. Neither the Dahlia Society of Ohio Inc. nor the Summit Mall will be responsible for loss or damage to exhibits or containers. Please remove your containers at teardown time. 7. Dahlias entered in competition must be grown by the exhibitor.

8. An exhibitor is allowed more than one entry in a class, unless the class rules designate otherwise. 9. Anyone using a CLOTH HOUSE or growing under cloth must exhibit in OPEN TO ALL. 10. For AA, A, B, and BB sizes, exhibitors must choose Section 1, 2, or 3. They may move up to section 2 or 3, but not down to section 2 or 1. 11. Undersize and oversize blooms: All blooms must be entered as officially classified by the ADS. Blooms will be judged with no penalty of premium points for being oversize or undersize. When judging miniatures, miniature balls, pompons, and mignon singles, judges should consider and may reward diminutiveness in an entry. 15. Multiple bloom entries must be staged in one container. When the number of blooms is specified, a greater or lesser number shall disqualify the entry. 16. Judges may not participate in the judging of classes containing their own entries. 18. Entries misplaced as to size, type, or color may be properly placed or re-entered prior to judging. If a Section has not been judged, the entry can be moved to the proper class, but it may not be moved to a Class or Section that has already been judged. 19. Ribbons or stickers will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners. However, no award will be given to an unworthy entry even though it may be the only one in its class. Judges may give a second or third to an entry in the event none is considered worthy of a first. 20. The single entry bloom that has won a blue ribbon and has the greatest numerical value by multiplying the depth by the diameter is the LARGEST bloom in the show. It will be placed on the 21.
