Dear STAR Families, What an incredible week we ve had! The middle school students helped parents and teachers move into their newly renovated rooms on Friday and instruction began this week in the new wing. There are even more exciting events, so please take note. Hope to see everyone on Friday at the picnic! Many blessings, Mrs. Averill, Principal This is a great time to meet new families or reconnect with ones from prior years. It is a family friendly event that will include some games and music. Hello Parents, It is almost picture time at Star of the Sea! Trahadias Studios is very excited to be joining you NEW this year as your school photographers! As requested, all photos will be taken on a background. Unlike most companies, we DO NOT make you PRE-PURCHASE a photo package. We provide a proof sheet/order envelope approximately 7 days from picture day. You decide once you see the proofs whether you would like to purchase. We also do not sell packages. Instead, we sell photos by the sheet, which allows you, the parent, to create a package that suits your individual needs. If you have more than one student at the school, you will receive separate order envelopes and proof sheets for each child. Along with 8x10s, 5x7s, etc., we also offer key chains, magnets, CDs and 11x14s at very reasonable prices. Picture sales are a fundraiser for your school since we return a portion of all sales to Star of the Sea! If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Susan at 757-646-9035. We are looking forward to a wonderful picture day on Friday, September 22, 2017! Keep smiling, Susan Trahadias
