Tournament Casino Canberra Blackjack Tournament Name: Tournament 16th June 2018, 14th July 2018, 18th August 2018, 15th September 2018,20th Dates: October 2018, 17th November 2018, 15th December 2018 Starting Time: 16:00 Target: All Infinity patrons Tournament Details: 1. The following tournament conditions are to be read in conjunction with Section 19, Tournament Play of the Casino Canberra Ltd Rules for Blackjack. The tournament will be conducted by the Tournament Director/ Assistant in accordance with these tournament conditions and the applicable rules of the game. 2. The tournament prize pool for each tournament will be worth $5,000, which shall be distributed as follows: Tournament Prize Pool: 1 st - $3,000 to be paid in Cash; 2 nd - $1,500 to be paid in Cash; and 3 rd - $500 to be paid in Cash. 3. Only person eligible to enter the Casino and who are Infinity Program members are eligible to enter the tournament. Entries are non-transferable. 4. The Entry Fee for eligible participants is: 4.1 $50, or for the first 30 player to pre-register up until the day before the tournament (and only applicable to players paying cash for entry fees), $30; 4.2 5,000 Infinity Program points ; or 4.3 Free entry for Infinity Program members who have been invited to participate in the tournament on a free entry basis (subject to management approval of the invitation). 5. Number of Players: Minimum of 10/ Maximum of 100 players. 6. If the minimum numbers of players have not registered by 15:30hrs, then the starting time for the tournament may be delayed by the Tournament Director/ Assistant up until 16:30hrs. 7. The Tournament Director/ Assistant shall announce the revised starting time on or before 16:00hrs. If any player wishes to obtain a refund of their entry fee, due to the delay, this shall be allowed. 1
8. If the minimum number of players has not been reached by the time notified as the revised starting time, the tournament shall not proceed. 9. An eligible participant, who meets the entry fee requirement (as above), is required to present a valid ID at the registration location at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the tournament, for registration and seat assignment purposes. Registration cuts-off at 15:30 (unless sold out earlier or the tournament starting time is delayed). 10. Registered participants must be present at a session of the tournament, in person, 15 minutes prior to the start of the session. 11. The tournament consists of 3 rounds (unless there are less than 15 participants, in which case the Semi-Final Round will not take place). The number of rounds will be in accordance with the attached Tournament Seating Schedule: 11.1 a Qualifying Round 11.2 a Semi-Final Round; and 11.3 a Final Round. 12. The amount of Tournament Chips that will be distributed to each player at the commencement of a session held during: 12.1 the Qualifying Round: shall be $1,000 worth of Tournament Chips; 12.2 the Semi-Final Round: shall be $2,000 worth of Tournament Chips; and 12.3 the Final Round: shall be $4,000 worth of Tournament Chips. 13. Qualifying Round: 13.1 There will be a maximum total of 100 participants in the Qualifying Round. A minimum of two tables per session will be run during the Qualifying Round. The number of players per table and the number of players to progress from the Qualifying Round to the Semi- Final Round, will be in accordance with the attached Tournament Seating Schedule. 13.2 A session in the Qualifying Round will consist of 7 hands of play. 13.3 Table limits for the Qualifying Round are: Minimum Bet Maximum Bet $10 $500 13.4 All bets in Qualifying Round are in units of $10. 14. Semi- Final Round: 14.1 The number of players per table and the number of players to progress from the Semi-Final Round to the Final Round, will be in accordance with the attached Tournament Seating Schedule. 14.2 The Semi- Final Round will consist of 10 hands of play. 2
14.3 Table limits for the Semi-Final Round are: Minimum Bet Maximum Bet $20 $1,000 14.4 All bets in Semi-Final are in units of $10. 15. Final Round: 15.1 The number of players on the final table will be in accordance with the attached Tournament Seating Schedule. 15.2 The Final Round will consist of 15 hands of play. 15.3 Table limits for the Final Round are: 15.4 All bets in Final round are in units of $100. 15.5 The top three (3) placegetters will be rewarded with the 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd prizes. Other Terms and Conditions: Minimum Bet 16. Perfect Pairs betting will not be played. Maximum Bet $100 No Limit 17. The starting marker that is used to indicate the player who must make the first bet of that round will also indicate the player who has their cards dealt first in that round. 18. In the case of a tie between two or more players for a seat in the next round, additional rounds of play will be completed until there is a result. 19. Where there is such a tie in any round (other than the Final Round), in circumstances where the tied players have no chips left, each player will be given the stipulated amount of tournament chips for that round; with the corresponding limits, and will play an additional 3 hands to determine which player(s) qualify for the next round. 20. Where there is a tie between two or more players in the Final Round, who are contesting the same distribution(s) of the prize pool, the relevant prize(s) shall be combined and divided equally between these players. 21. Players will start each round with the stipulated amount of tournament chips for that round. Chips will not carry forward to subsequent rounds. 22. Failure to adhere to the tournament terms and conditions will result in disqualification. 23. Affiliates, contractors, directors, and/or employees associated with Aquis Entertainment and/or the Host are not eligible to participate in the promotional activity. 3
24. Guest must be aged eighteen (18) years or older to be eligible to access the venue and/or participate in this promotional activity. 25. Previously excluded guests are not eligible to access the venue and/or participate in this promotional activity. 4
