Schl Start Times Explratin PSD is explring the pssibility f changing schl start times fr the 2019-2020 schl year Research indicates that high schl students perfrm better and are safer when they get mre sleep American Medical Assciatin (AMA) recmmends start times f 8:30am r later PSD s current start times range frm 7:25-8:15am at the secndary level PSD recgnizes that start and end times have a brad impact in ur cmmunity

Transprtatin Backgrund Infrmatin Key Transprtatin Facts: Tiered rutes are efficient. Using tiered rutes allws PSD t use ne bus fr multiple runs. Hiring and retaining bus drivers is challenging. PSD ffers ne f the highest rates f pay in the state, but it is difficult t retain drivers. Due t driver shrtages, all staff in the Transprtatin Department with CDL drivers licenses are asked t drive rutes. This is nt a sustainable practice.
