For all articles not specified in this Short Version, the Standard Regulations for Events of the NEZ Championship for Rallycross Drivers are valid. The Standard Regulations are distributed to each competitor in the NEZ Championship by his ASN. They are also posted on the Official Notice Board of each event. Organization RA EVENTS SIA, in cooperation with LAF Cross commission, will organize the NEZ Rallycross Championships Event. This Event will be run in accordance with the Code (and its Appendices) of the FIA, the FIA Regulations for Rallycross, General Prescriptions for the Championship, LAF Cross commission regulations of Rallycross, and these Regulations (and any other Regulations which may be issued in writing by the organizers). GENERAL 3. General conditions This Event will count for the NEZ Rallycross Championship 2016; LAF LADA RX Cup 2016. DESCRIPTION OF THE CIRCUIT Location: Bikernieki Sports Complex, GPS Location: N56.966387, E24.232542 S.Eizensteina str. 4, Riga, LV-1079, Latvia Length: 1294m (without Joker Lap), 1352m (including Joker Lap) Maximum width: 14.50m Minimum width: 8.00m Composition: 40% Gravel, 60% Tarmac Joker lap: Will be used ENTRY FORMS, ENTRIES Drivers, licensed by their ASN, wishing to take part in the event, must send the attached duly completed Entry form to the Secretary no later than July 19, 2016. DIVISIONS The Championship is open to vehicles of following divisions:
NEZ SUPER 1600 cylinders capacity does not exceed 1600 cm3, 2WD front wheel drive, the driver min 16 years old. NEZ 2000 cylinders capacity does not exceed 2000 cm3. 2WD. Driver min. 18 years old. Only cars homologated for 4 passengers. NEZ OPEN without limits for cylinders capacity; 2WD, the driver min 18 years old. NEZ SUPERCARS cylinders capacity does not exceed 3500 cm3 (2058cm3 with turbo) (4WD) the driver min 18 years old. Only cars homologated for 4 passengers. ENTRY FEE The entry fee for NEZ Rallycross is Eur 120. ADMINISTRATIVE CHECKING 4. Checking Only drivers must report to administrative checking, which will be held at Sport Complex Bikernieki. SCRUTINEERING Any car taking part in the Event must be presented by the driver to scrutineering, which will be held at Sport Complex Bikernieki (in accordance with the given program). Any car arriving after the closure of scrutineering may be refused permission to start. The organizer may provide a special period for scrutineering for competitors who arrive after the closure of scrutineering. NOISE For all cars, a limit of 100 db is imposed, measured with a noise pressure meter regulated at "A" and "SLOW", placed at an angle of 45 to and a distance of 50 cm from the exhaust outlet, with the car's engine turning at 4500 revolutions per minute. (A carpet of 1.50 m x 1.50 m minimum must be placed over the relevant area). DRIVERS BRIEFING 5. Running of the Event The Drivers Briefing: Drivers of those cars, which are eligible to take part in the race, must be present throughout the entire Drivers Briefing. The Briefing will be held in English. RUNNING OF THE EVENT Running of the Event: according to NEZ Rallycross Championship 2016 Regulations LAF LADA RX Cup 2016. PARC FERME 6. Parc Ferme/Results/Protests Immediately after the finals all cars must be parked in the parc ferme. If a car is not parked in parc ferme due to fault of driver he will be excluded from the meeting. The cars shall remain in the parc ferme until released by decision of the Clerk of the Course. Only Scrutineers and competitors invited by Chief Scrutineer are allowed to be in parc ferme.
RESULTS All results will be posted on the official notice board immediately after the each heat as soon as they are complete. The results will be posted after last final on official notice board. PROTESTS, APPEALS All protests will be lodged in accordance with the NEZ Rallycross Championship 2016 Regulations. All protests must be made in writing and handed to the Clerk of the Course, or in their absence any of the Stewards of the meeting, together with the sum of 100. If the protest requires the dismantling and re- assembly of different parts of a car, the claimant must make a deposit of 1000. Competitors have the right to appeal; the amount of the appeal fee is 1000. 7. Prizes and Cups Prizes for the Championship Event: NEZ Rallycross: Class Top-3, Cups (NEZ Super 1600, NEZ 2000, NEZ Open, NEZ SuperCar) NEZ Rallycross Team: Best team, Cup FIRE EXTINGUISHERS 8. Other Information Each driver is responsible for ensuring that a fire extinguisher (6 kg) is available within his own team area inside the paddock. Drivers refusing to comply with this will be fined Eur 350.00. PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT Each driver is requested to ensure that a plastic sheet (minimum dimensions 4 x 5 meters) is spread on the ground in the place reserved for his team, where work is to be done on his car, in order to prevent any pollution in case of an accidental leak, etc. Drivers refusing to comply with this will be fined EUR 350.00. Driver must clean after himself his parking place and to hand over to the paddock manager before team is leaving. PADDOCK Driver is responsible for his team to be careful if they use barbeque in the paddock, and it must be confirmed with paddock manager. DOCUMENTS AND BULLETINS All related documents and Bulletins, if there will be any, will be published on www.laf.lv (http://www.laf.lv/laf/?cat=11). DRIVERS` LIAISON OFFICER The Drivers Liaison Officer will be recognizable by special vest. He may be reached near race center.
