The Fisher Cats got runners to scoring position with no outs five times but only mustered one run out of all those opportunities, allowing Dietrich Enns to twirl six shutout innings against them. The Thunder scored seven runs just a day after the Fisher Cats had hit that mark against them. Jon Berti singled in the eighth inning to get a hit in his sixth straight game. TODAY S STARTER: Shane Dawson makes his second Fisher Cats start Sunday against the Thunder. In his first start, Shane dominated Hartford with five scoreless innings, fanning four and allowing three hits. Dawson split 2015 between Lansing and Dunedin, amassing an impressive 15-6 record with a 3.03 ERA and 120 strikeouts in 127.2 innings pitched. WILD WALK-OFF WACKINESS: The Fisher Cats walk-off win Thursday night was a historic occurrence, as it marks the first time they ve won a home opener in walk-off fashion in team history. The last time the Fisher Cats won a game with a walk-off hit was July 18, 2015, when Roemon Fields singled home Jack Murphy to defeat the Portland Sea Dogs. TOP PROSPECTS: Five Fisher Cats are among the Top 30 in the Blue Jays organization, according to Baseball America. SPEED KILLS: The Fisher Cats have run wild on the bases in 2016, with a league-best 17 steals in 19 attempts over their first seven games. Jon Berti leads the way with six steals (tops in the league), and Roemon Fields has five (tied for second). In 2015, the Fisher Cats stole 19 bases between April and May.
