How to get there Shuttle bus Egmond aan Zee is situated around 45 km from Amsterdam and does not have its train station. COACH facilitates the transport of the Summer school participants by organising two shuttle buses going from the Amsterdam Centraal s tation to Egmond on Saturday evening at 20.00 and on Sunday morning at 11.30. The coach will be waiting in front of the Victoria Hotel just outside of the Amsterdam Central train station, you should see the SEURAT-1 logo nearby. If you wish to get to Egmond by public transportation on your own, follow the instructions below: From the Centraal Station Take a train from Centraal Station to Alkmaar (40 min, 7,20 full-fare one way). In Alkmaar, take a bus n 165 to Egmond aan Zee, stop Zeeweg (30 min, 3,50 one way). The hotel is in front of the bus station. From the airport Take a train from Schiphol train station to Alkmaar ( 9.00 full-fare, one way). You will have to change the train at Amsterdam Sloterdjik. In Alkmaar, take a bus n 165 to Egmond aan Zee, stop Zeeweg (30 min, 3,50 one way). The hotel is in front of the bus station.
