SPECIAL EVENTS SATURDAY DECEMBER 1 LEEP Christmas Tree Decorating Party Come and join the holiday festivities as we decorate the LEEP Christmas tree. We will enjoy Christmas cookies, holiday punch and holiday music while we make decorations and decorate the tree. Don't miss out on this fun event!! Cost includes staffi ng, event, snacks, beverages, and drop-off transportation. Meet at LEEP: 11:00am Drop offs: 1:00-2:00pm Limit: 12 Cost: $15/$22 SATURDAY DECEMBER 1 Dinner & Movie Enjoy a night out seeing a movie and eating out! SUNDAY DECEMBER 9 Mall of America: Sea Life Aquarium & Hard Rock Cafe Back by popular demand!! We will be taking a second trip to the wild ocean life at the Mall of America attraction, Sea Life! We will walk around the mall and see the holiday decorations in full swing, have a tour at Sea Life, and enjoy lunch at the rock-n-roll themed restaurant, Hard Rock Cafe. Cost includes staffi ng, 1 admission ticket, 1 meal, event, and drop-off transportation. Meet at LEEP: 9:00am Drop offs: 5:00-6:00pm Cost: $92/$99 SATURDAY DECEMBER 15 "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" Children's Theatre LEEP will be traveling to Minneapolis to catch a holiday favorite, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The Grinch and his loyal dog, Max, live a solitary existence inside a cave on Mount Crumpet. His main source of aggravation comes during Christmas time, when his neighbors in Whoville celebrate the holidays with a bang. When the Whos decide to make Christmas bigger and brighter, the disgruntled Grinch realizes there is one way to gain peace and quiet. With help from Max, the green grump hatches a scheme to pose as Santa Claus, steal Christmas and silence the Whos' holiday cheer once and for all. Before the show we will be having lunch. Cost includes staffi ng, 1 admission ticket, 1 meal, and drop off transportation. Meet at LEEP: 9:00 am Drop offs: 5:30-6:00pm (No PCA space available for this event) Cost: $88/$95 SUNDAY DECEMBER 16 Wow!Zone Bowling & Pizza Grab all of your friends for bowling and pizza at one of our favorite establishments in town! We will be bowling for 1 hour and after we bowl we will enjoy some delicious pizza and pop to rebuild our strength. Time: Limit: 20 THURSDAY DECEMBER 6 Holiday Bingo Come and enjoy Holiday BINGO at LEEP. Try everyone's favorite game with a holiday twist! Time: Limit: 30 FRIDAY DECEMBER 7 Reindeer Games Birthday Bash Celebrate good times with us at LEEP! We will be having a birthday treat and playing famous reindeer games! *December Birthdays get in for FREE! Time: 6:30-7:30 pm TUESDAY DECEMBER 11 Kiwanis Holiday Lights & Coco Join LEEP as we check out this year's Kiwanis Holiday Lights at Sibley Park. While there we will warm up with some delicious hot chocolate! *Be sure to bring a non-perishable food donation! Time: 6:30-8:30 pm THURSDAY DECEMBER 13 Christmas Stocking Decorating Join the fun and make sure Santa has a place to leave your Christmas presents by creating a one of a kind Christmas stocking at LEEP! We will be enjoying sloppy joes while we hang out with friends, listen to great music and get a fun holiday photo taken. SPECIAL OLYMPICS Bowling State Bowling Tournament Saturday, December 1st at the Wow!Zone. Specifi c times that each bowler needs to be at Wow!Zone will be handed out at practice. Poly Hockey Respect Word Shirt Fundraiser Toddler, Youth, and Adult S-XL = $10.00 XXL-XXXXL = $12.00 On registration sheet please indicate size and quantity. LEEP is going to be trying our hand at Poly Hockey! This sport is adapted from the game of ice hockey where it is played indoors on a gymnasium fl oor. The teams are composed of six players, including a goalie. the athletes use plastic sticks and hard plastic pucks. We will focus on skill development, teamwork, and overall understanding of the game. This sport does cost more due to the need to purchase equipment. Limit: 16 Athletes (If we do not recieve a miniumum of 9 athletes we will cancel the season) Price: $250.00 for the season If you plan on staying with us at state add $200.00 for a total of $450.00 Transport: $25.00 for one-way or $50.00 for two-way Practice time and location: TBD (When registering please indicate day of week and time that works best and we will try to accommodate the majority from times we receive for open gym space) Area: January, 26 th 2019 State: March, 2 & 3rd 2019 Flag Football The LEEP Flag Football teams fi nished up their seasons on the weekend of October 27th thru the 28th. We had a fun season with a tough tournament to fi nish it up. LEEP PAYMENT CHECKLIST DECEMBER 2018 For your convenience, LEEP has included this checklist to assist with registration and to make the payment process easier. Please include payment for transportation. Scholarships: Looking forward to that special activity, but it s slightly out of your budget? Come into our offi ce and fi ll out our scholarship form before the event and get up to 50% of your costs covered for the event! This can be used for Special Events, Night Activities, Classes, Youth Programming and Special Olympic Sports. Applications can be found online at www.mankatoleep.org All scholarships are given at the discretion of the Executive Director. Scholarships are limited per event. Participant Cancellations: If a participant is registered for an activity and cannot attend, they must call the LEEP office to cancel no less than 24 hours in advance for Night Activities and by noon on Thursday for Special Events to not be charged. Reminders: All fees must be paid by the date of the event or $5 late fee will be added. Please call LEEP if you need to establish a payment plan. Credit card payments are accepted with a minimal convenience fee and can be processed in the LEEP offi ce during regular business hours.
