Each week we will start the fun at, by having a Philadelphia food truck set up to sell delicious treats, entrees, beverages and sandwiches. Come early and enjoy a picnic before the film begins at The Water Tower Recreation Center is located at 209 East Hartwell Lane, Philadelphia, PA If it rains the film will be cancelled. This event helps support the Chestnut Hill Community Association. We work to keep Chestnut Hill a unique and wonderful place to live. We bring the community together with our popular Chestnut Hill events and we are also the voice of the community to the City. We advocate for Chestnut Hill regarding development, land use planning, zoning and streetscape issues. To keep these programs going, we need your financial support. This event draws in 200+ attendees and even more volunteers and sponsors. The Black & White Gala has been a loved Chestnut Hill fundraiser for decades. Join us and wear their fancy attire (make sure its black or white). Families line Germantown Avenue to wave to the marchers in our Annual Chestnut Hill Community Holiday Parade. We welcome teams, scouts, and musical groups to help us celebrate! Santa arrives on the Wyndmoor Engine #37 firetruck, and the Phillie Phanatic and mummers from the Chestnut Hill Venetian Club also join the fun! Hot cocoa and treats are enjoyed at the Market at the Fareway at the end of the parade, and musical and dance troupes perform.
