With 42 years of practice, this Camas power duo have mastered the high art of apparently tireless accomplishment in their community! Farming! School leadership! Power lines! Bean inspection! That s right, we re talking bean inspection! Decades of 4-H leadership! Delectable cakes! Read the bio in the Fair program! Finally, all is revealed! Above: Sue and Bruce Robbins at home. Hüge Fair Events!!! Wednesday: Set Up Exhibits and Booths at the Legion Hall! 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.! Open class items to be judged, or not, may be entered. (Uh, what?) Thursday: Last Chance to Enter Exhibits! Thursday, 8 to 10 a.m.! Hustle up, 4- H and open class exhibitors! Rabbit Show! 9 a.m.! In front of the school! Hop to it! View Exhibits! Thursday, 3-5 p.m.! Legion Hall open for display of entries and exhibits! Bike Rodeo! Thursday at 3:30! Hey, learn to ride proud and safe! Bike Parade! Thursday at 5:15! Kids meet at the school grounds to decorate bikes, trikes! Then it s the bike parade to the 4-H park and the Carnival!! Free Carnival in the Park, Thursday at 6 p.m.! In the steam engine park on Fairfield s main street! Conservation District Poster Contest Presentation and Awards! 2 p.m. at the Legion Hall! Some More Carnival in the Park All Over Again! Not free, though! Community Potluck Picnic! 6 p.m. Friday in the Park! Bring a main dish and a salad or dessert, along with some dinin tools, if you use tools, and maybe a chair, if you use chairs! Music in the Park! Mercy! Saturday: 4-H Livestock Show, Saturday 8 a.m.! This is it! The ultra-soulful main event! The kids show their critters! Or is it the other way around? At the Park! Round Robin at 11:15 or so. Cheerleader Fundraiser Breakfast Beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday morning at the Livestock show the Jr. High Cheerleaders will be selling breakfast sandwiches $5 including a drink! They will also be selling pancakes, sausage and egg breakfast. They will be there from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.! Eat at the Fair!
