Hooks starter Keegan Yuhl, who was riding a five-game win streak, was touched for four runs over six innings of work. Burg s double in the sixth keyed a two-run frame which made the score 5-4 Hooks. In the top of the seventh, Alex Bregman tripled off the wall in left field against lefty Frank Lopez. Bregman later scored on a two-out, two-strike single by Nick Tanielu. Reed was hitting.266 with 19 doubles, 11 home runs, and 36 RBIs in 59 games for Triple-A Fresno this year. A 2nd-round pick in 2014, out of the University of Kentucky, Reed hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games, batting.362 with 3 homers, 6doubles and 7 RBIs in that span.
