DRIVING RANGE GUIDELINES While the range is open, range balls will be found in a special designated area for STLC card holders. PLAY REGULATIONS Golf at Sea Trail Golf Club is governed by The Rules of Golf and Etiquette as written by the United States Golf Association, as well as our local rules, which include Out of Bounds (defined by white stakes or lines). Flower and shrubbery beds are considered ground under repair and relief is mandatory. Water or Lateral Hazards are indicated by the hazard stakes and painted lines. We ask that all golfers respond promptly to the directions of the Starter and/or Ranger, and that particular attention is paid to the cart directional signs on the course. PLEASE do your part in helping to keep our course in top condition by repairing your ball mark and others. Also, use the sand bottles provided on every golf cart to fill in your divots. Additional sand bottles can be found on each course between holes #1 & #10. Please exchange as needed. Finally, when in the bunker, rake your shot area and place the rake inside the bunker when completed. Slow play is a subject of concern for all golfers. Sea Trail Golf Club requests that all players do their best to improve the pace of play by keeping up with the group ahead. This is of particular importance during our inseason months and heavier play days. As a general rule, it is requested that all players attempt to play in four (4.5) hours. Pace of Play could exceed 4 hours 30 minutes during peak season or sold-out days. 3 P a g e

Mar - Apr: 7:30 4:30 May - Oct: 7:00 4:30 Nov: 7:30 1:00 Dec: 8:30 1:00 GOLF CARTS The use of a golf cart makes the game available to some who could not otherwise play, and more enjoyable for others. But, to assure the game remains enjoyable for all, we ask that care be taken when operating these vehicles. Rules The following rules are designed to preserve our course: A valid Driver s License is mandatory for any person operating a golf cart. The operator of the golf car assumes full responsibility for any damage other than normal wear. If a cart is damaged, a $500.00 deposit is required at the time and the remainder due upon invoice. No more than two persons may occupy a golf cart at one time. Golf carts are to be returned to the staging area adjacent to the Bag Drop upon completion of play. The Golf Shop and/or Starter will notify you on certain days that the golf carts cannot leave the paved path. When notified, players must leave their golf cart on the paved path and walk to execute their golf shots. Please make every attempt to leave all four tires on the path as not to unnecessarily damage the edges of the paths. Regardless of ground conditions, avoid soft areas, ground under repair or newly planted areas. Stay on the paved path whenever possible. On days when golf carts are allowed off the paved path, the starter will inform you of the daily cart rules. Pay particular attention to the cart directional signs which prohibit driving the golf cart within a certain distance from the green. For safety, use the safety lock brake each time you exit the golf cart. 11 P a g e

12 P a g e Handicap flags will be issued to card holders who otherwise are physically unable to play under current golf cart restrictions. In such cases, we ask that the golf rules set forth above be as closely adhered to as possible. HANDICAP FLAGS For preservation of the golf course and to provide accessibility for people with disabilities, whether permanent or temporarily, the following guidelines shall apply. If STLC card holders or guests with limited mobility request access to areas of the golf course not normally accessible to golf cars, the Golf Shop shall make available a golf cart with appropriate flag designation upon the following conditions: If a golfer has an obvious physical disability which would impede his/her access to areas of the golf course not normally accessible to golf carts without the assistance of a golf cart, the Golf Shop should assign him/her a golf cart with a flag permitting access to those areas; If a golfer does not have an obvious physical disability but possesses a handicap parking sticker granted by a state or federal agency, he/she shall also be granted access; If a golfer with a temporary disability supported by a current physician s statement explaining the disability which would impair access to areas of the golf course not normally accessible for golf carts, then a golf cart with appropriate flag designation shall be assigned; Any golfer over the age of 85. GUIDELINES FOR HANDICAP FLAGS Any golfer issued a handicap flag may travel on the golf course even in normally restricted areas; However, not upon or within 20 yards of the greens. If more than one (1) person in a golfing group is utilizing a flag, those golfers must ride together. The Club, either through the Pro Shop or by the Greens Superintendent, may restrict the use of golf cart access to the golf course. (i.e. Cart Path Only). IF OUR MAINTENANCE TEAM CANNOT PUT MOWERS OUT DUE TO WET CONDITIONS, HANDICAP FLAGS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.

We offer private lessons as well as group instruction for both adults and juniors, utilizing the latest video equipment. Additionally, we conduct clinics at various times of the year, which cover a wide variety of topics. Martin Sludds is a very accomplished teacher and touring professional. He was on the European Tour and won two Irish Opens in 1984 as well as 1993. He was a club pro at Enniscorthy Golf Club in Wexford, Ireland before coming to the states. One of his most prolific students is now a teacher himself, Nick Bradley. Martin gave Nick his first lesson at the age of 13. Nick would go on to be a premier swing coach to Justin Rose and Kevin Chappell, just to name a few. Martin knows his way around the golf swing and psychology of the sport. COURSE CLOSING SCHEDULE AERATION A cultural practice used to alleviate compaction, improve air and water exchanges, as well as remove unwanted thatch (organic matter) from the upper root zone. Without aeration, the greens would suffer severely, especially during the hot and humid summer months. FROST DELAYS Frost is essentially frozen dew. It can form when temperatures (or wind chill) are near or below the freezing point. When frosted, the normally resilient plant cells become brittle and are easily shattered. It is not much different from cracking an egg. Once the shell is broken, you can t put it back together. Although you do not see any immediate damage, if you walk on the turf, the proof will emerge within 24-72 hours as the leaves die and turn brown. A short delay while the frost melts can preserve the quality of the greens, prevent needless repairs, and may even save you a few strokes the next time you play. TURF COVERS We will cover all Bermuda greens when temperatures go below 25 degrees to preserve the quality of our greens. The turf covers will not be removed until air temperatures exceed 45 degrees. 17 P a g e
