Big week coming up let the homecoming chaos begin!!
For at least the past 8 years (I m not sure how much further back before me) we have shown our school spirit and our creative skills at the middle school with our annual homecoming parade. This year is no exception. Our kids are busy at work with their advisories creating their floats for next Friday s homecoming parade through Redfield. If you would like to help support our kids, we will be marching through town at approximately 2:30 on our route to the football field for a pep rally. All are invited to share the spirit.
Added to the parade and pep rally last year, we added even more fun and spirit to homecoming Friday with a tailgate party after school. I will be on the grill cooking ups some yummy hotdogs and there will be fun games and activities for all to enjoy. We will bus the kids over to the high school at 5:45 to watch the game or be picked up to go home. All students will either need picked up at Redfield by 5:30 or at the high school at 6:00. I will send out more details next week as a reminder too. There will be a sign up in the office on Monday. We d like to have everyone who plans to attend sign up so we have a count for bussing. Last year was a blast, and I expect this year to be even better.
Dress up days are fun I think Get into the spirit next week by participating in our dress up days. 6 th Grade Brody Moore Brody has been doing a great job this whole year in my class. I know that he is thinking and challenging himself in my class based off his work, and what he says when he participates in class discussion. He knows when to flip the switch, and get serious when it is time to get to work, but at the same has a quiet sense of humor. He is committed to challenging himself, has a great personality, and is an asset to my class! Mr. Addy
7 th Grade Bella Munoz I would like to nominate Bella Munoz for 7 th grade Student of the Week. Bella is such a hard worker. I have seen her challenge herself in a variety of ways already this school year! She is doing so much to push herself out of her comfort zone in order to be a leader and positive influence to her peers. She is also such a joy to have in class and her smile lights up my room! Ms. Wilson
8 th Grade Emma Coffin I would like to nominate Emma Coffin. Emma has really opened up this year, and I appreciate the positive energy she brings to my classroom. Emma participates often in class, and she always backs up her comments with specific examples from the book. I love her enthusiasm for reading! Mrs. Kuhns
Have a great weekend! Go Cats!! DREAM
