Recreational Divisions Ages for all rec divisions are as of August 31, 2018. This means your division will be decided by your oldest member as of August 31, 2018. All rec teams must cheer for an organized recreational sport. Rec teams will be split into divisions by levels. Rec teams will follow USASF rules for their appropriate level (Levels 1-4). Teams may choose between traditional or performance. Traditional rec teams have a focus on cheering for sports teams and do not compete often. Performance rec teams also cheer for sports teams but have a focus on competition and therefore usually practice more and compete on a regular basis. Pennsylvania Elite reserves the right to add, combine, or delete divisions as necessary. Please list your team names by the appropriate divisions, include level, number of athletes and select traditional or performance. Game Day Championships New this year - Only at The Launch! Rec and School Teams Only These divisions are for teams who might not have a complete routine or wish to enter in addition to their squad routine. Teams may compete in any of the following divisions. Teams are permitted to use camp sidelines, cheers and dances or create their own. These divisions are for school and rec teams only. Sideline Teams perform one sideline with no incorporation. Jumps, tumbling, stunts, pyramids and basket tosses are not allowed. Teams are encouraged to use ripples and level changes to add visual creativity to their sideline. Poms are allowed. Cheer with incorporation Teams perform one cheer that must include at least one or more types of incorporation (jumps, tumbling, stunts, pyramids). Poms, megaphones and signs are permitted. Dance with incorporation Teams perform a dance routine that must also include at least one or more types of incorporation (jumps, tumbling, stunts, pyramids). The Launch, Santa s Showdown and March Madness Liability Waiver Participants will not be able to compete without a signed waiver. Please hand in waivers at the registration table on the day of the event. I give my daughter/son permission to participate in the 2018 2019 Santa s Showdown, The Launch and/or March Madness competitions. I understand that with any competitive sport there are inherent risks involved, including catastrophic injuries. I agree to hold Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc., The Liberty Arena and the Radisson Convention Center harmless for any injuries/illnesses to my child. In case of injury, parent/guardian(s) are responsible for all medical treatments and expenses.
