QUILTING Quilting on Monday, December 10th in the Craft Room at 1 PM. This week we will be making a Fabric Snowflake. Again this is a No Sew item which doesn t require a sewing machine. Please join us if it is something that sounds interesting, we know you will have fun! Don t forget your Show & Tell!! I will be out of town this week so Kathy Moyna will be your leader (teacher) this week. Please stop by and buy some raffle tickets from the girls as I said last week the money we raise will be used to make a Design Wall in the craft room and to help us purchase batting, backing, etc. for donation quilts. DANCE WITH LESLIE BLASING Steve and I are in charge of the Leslie Blasing Dance to be held December 13 from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm. Tickets are on sale Mondays and up to the date of the dance. The tickets are $7.00. You may call Linda to purchase at times other than the Monday meetings. There will be no reserved seating. Get your tickets early as they are available to the public. Leslie has been voted Valley Star Female Vocalist of the year for 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 and Entertainer of the Year for 2014, 2015 and 2016 awarded by the Winter Texan Times and given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Winter Texans in the Rio Grande Valley and RV Resorts. Social Hour will be at 12:30 and we will eat at 1:00. Please bring $1.00 per person to help pay for the Turkeys. A sign up sheet is on the bulletin board by the Kitchen. Please sign only one person per line and put what you are bringing and your phone number. So if it is Mr. and Mrs. It would take two line. There is a limit of only 16 people per table. Each person is to bring a dish to pass. Each table is responsible for decorating their table, and when the meal is finished you are responsible for washing and putting away your tables. Thank you, Cindy Duffy New Year s Eve Dance Tickets are on sale now for this year's New Year's Eve celebration. Mario will be the entertainer, with a wide variety of styles of music. Tickets are $12 a person. There will be open seating, but you can come early to reserve the table you want. We have added some new things to this year s party, including a table decorating contest, a dessert bar and a photo fun zone. We are in need of volunteers to help with this year s New Year s Eve Dance. The more people we have, the less time each person will need to work. CORPORATE BOARD NEWS There will be 2 open Corporate Board Meetings one on December 17th and the other on January 7th. If you have questions for the Board please submit them in writing by Monday December 10th and by Monday December 31st. You can leave your questions in the office. Please sign your name. We more than doubled our attendance. We had five great golfers. Linda Eckert was our star of the day with low score and 1 birdie. We had 5 balls that tried to swim the ponds but sunk, much to our dismay. Holes 7, 8 & 9 were particularly challenging as there was a serious water leak flooding the area. We didn t do too pad considering the obstacles. We all went home with wet feet. Lots of laughs and a good time was had by all.
