No such hearing held/ sitting was heard by Anti-Doping Appeal Panel during the month of October, 2018.
Mass Athlete Awareness Program Against Doping in Sports NADA has been conducting anti doping awareness workshops, educational and awareness seminars about the prohibited drugs/substances and methods in sports across the country for sports persons. Observance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas NADA officials observed the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas to commemorate the birth anniversary of Late Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. A pledge taking ceremony for national unity was held on 31.10.2018 in NADA office. Sh. Navin Agarwal, DG, NADA along with NADA officials taking pledge on 31/10/2018 International Cooperation: Sh. Navin Agarwal, DG, NADA attended the 2 nd Global Education Conference which was held at Beijing, China, from 24-25 October, 2018. The conference focused on need of a paradigm shift from detection and deterrence to long term solutions by way of anti doping education to today s athlete and future generations. The Anti-doping Charter of Athlete s Right was also discussed. Standards for value based anti doping education were also evolved. Sh.
