Open Positions - We are looking for an Executive Officer & an Outdoor Officer. Contact Patrick Kothe at 505-632-2485 for more Information. Range Clean-Up - Only 3 people came for Range Clean-up Day. Remember More Hands make light Work. Please Can help 3rd Friday of the Month! Don t Forget to Vote Don t forget Elections are coming up in less than a month. Meet the Men running for Board positions. Kurt Palmer My Name is Kurt Palmer. I am a lifetime resident of Kirtland, NM. I have been a masonry contractor for 45 years. I am an avid supporter of the Constitution of The United States of America, I strongly support the 2nd amendment. I am very firm in my belief of that right. I will not back down from protecting our 2nd amendment right. I am a Patriot Life Member-Benefactor Level of the NRA. I have been a long-time fo the San Juan Wildlife Federation. I was privileged to be a part of the construction of the clubhouse building. It is a great Facility. I know it takes a lit of work and effort to keep the organization running. I believe at this time in my life I have more time to join in the work and effort it takes to keep the facility up. I truly look forward to being a part of what a great club this is. Charlie Baez My name is Charlie Baez. I have been a Farmington resident since 1992 and a member of the San Juan Wildlife Federation since 1993. I am married and have 3 children and 9 grandchildren, all of whom live in Texas which is where I lived prior to relocating to Farmington. I am recently retired from the medical profession as a Registered Nurse for 40 years. I worked for Davita Dialysis for the majority of the time I have lived in Farmington. Also, for a short period, worked for San Juan Regional Medical Center. My wife and I are NRA Life Members. We currently compete in IDPA, in addition to Cowboy Fastdraw. Our Cowboy Fastdraw Club is located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado where we compete on a monthly basis. We have also competed in regional and national matches. During the time that I have been a member of San Juan Wildlife Federation, for the most part, have been unable to participate in many of the club's activities due to my previous employment on-call requirement. Being retired, now affords me the opportunity to become more involved in the club's activities and this is the reason that I would like to be considered for the position. I am a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment and promote shooting sports whenever I can, whether it be for competition or hunting. I see the San Juan Wildlife Federation as a way to help continue that support in the community. Mike Finlayson Mike Finlayson was born in central Utah hunting and fishing with his family. Mike grew up in the BSA and is an Eagle Scout. Mike moved to San Juan county in 2002. He has worked in the oil field for the past 14 years as an automation/ electrician. Mike has been going to the range for the last 12 years shooting trap and the occasional banggalore. OUR PLEDGE I Pledge to Protect and Conserve the Natural Resources of America. I Promise to Educate Future Generations so They May Become Caretakers of Our Water, Air, Land, and Wildlife.
