ALL judging is as per the FIG Code of Points 2017-2020 Cycle 14 unless specific rules apply. Each level progressively develops techniques and themes that will underpin high level performance. The gymnast should develop routines by learning elements following these progressive themes. Technique is common throughout the National Talent Pathway. The National Elite Grades are a significant challenge to even the most talented gymnasts. It is essential that coaches understand the technical pathways for developing skills, in order to make the good choices for the gymnasts development. The desire is to put the ARTISTRY back into our sports title, Men s Artistic Gymnastics, with a routine at each level for Artistic Preparation. The National Elite Grades remain as the principle route for selection into the Elite Performance Squad. The Club Grades have been upgraded and are more challenging for 2018-21 and include APP to promote artistry and performance confidence. 2018-2020 MAG Club Grades January 2018
