Sarah Calvert & Andy Wood / calvertgymevents@gmail.com Our website is constantly updated with information Entry Fee includes event T-shirt, a 5.00 Quatro leotard voucher and ONE non-refundable spectator ticket valid for the entrant s round of competition. Please note that the inclusion of one non-refundable spectator ticket within the entry fee has been introduced and your parents need to be made aware of this prior to ordering additional spectator tickets. Public ticket sales for each event will go on sale following the publication of each programme and will be sold by round (not day). These changes have been made in order that as many people as possible are able to attend the competition and support their gymnast. T-Shirt Sizes are as follows (please pre-order on your entry form): 5-6 / 7-8 / 9-11 / / Small / Medium / Large / X-Large All competing gymnasts must be current Associate Members of British Gymnastics. All Coaches accompanying gymnasts must be current and Full Members of British Gymnastics as well qualified to the level of the participants performance. Entry fees are fully refundable if a gymnast is withdrawn prior to the published entry closing dates Withdrawals received after this date are non-refundable however, the withdrawn gymnast will still receive their event t-shirt, leotard voucher and entry pass to the round of the competition they had been entered in.
2 JUDGE PROVISION From the outset, all matters relating to judge provision or judging should be directed to Elaine Wood If you are entering 1 gymnast, you are not required to supply a judge. Clubs entering more than one gymnast are required to nominate and supply one judge for upto every 8 gymnasts entered that can judge one whole day. Eg. 15 gymnasts would = 2 judges The fine for each judge missing is 100 per judge to a maximum fee of 300. Clubs will also be expected to pay this fee if any of their nominated judge(s) fails to show at the event. All judges will be fed & watered J! Please ensure all judges nominated hold a current judging award at the level of the gymnasts entered. 3 AWARDS and PRIZES The Overall winner, within each level & age group will receive an Oscar and Gold Medal Overall 2 nd and 3 rd, within level & age group, will receive Silver and Bronze Medals Overall 4 th to 8 th, within each grade & age group, will receive a 4 th to 8 th Place Rosette Please note that gymnasts are required to compete on all apparatus to be eligible for overall awards. Apparatus Awards will be presented by the judges at each piece based on the gymnast s E-Panel deductions on each apparatus based on the table below. Please note that awards for compulsory, club, regional & national Grade gymnasts will be presented to those gymnasts that have been credited with an attempt for all of the elements required on each apparatus. Awards for FIG gymnasts will be presented to gymnasts that have performed a vault with a D-score of 4.00+, fulfilled 3 CRs on bars and all 5 CRs on beam & floor. 4 HOW TO ENTER and PAY Complete the online Entry Form accessible from the homepage of or by typing the following in your browser: Entry fees are fully refundable if a gymnast is withdrawn prior to the published entry closing dates Withdrawals received after this date are non-refundable however, the withdrawn gymnast will still receive their event t-shirt, leotard voucher and entry pass to the round of the competition they had been entered in. Obviously, any errors will be rectified as quickly as possible.
5 SPECTATOR TICKETS We cannot stress enough the importance of pre-ordering tickets via the event website Purchasing tickets in advance is essential as space is limited and we often sell-out. Entry to the Competition cannot be guaranteed by turning up on the day. Every gymnast entered has ONE non-refundable spectator ticket included in their entry fee. This ticket will be valid for their round of competition and can be collected from the pre-order collection point under the gymnast s name. Additional tickets will be made available for sale following the publication of each programme and will be sold by round (not day). The order process will ask if the purchaser would like to add additional tickets to the one already held under their competing gymnast s name or, if they are ordering separately. Spectator charges are as follows: Adults Junior & Seniors 1 round 5 1 round 3 In most cases, the arena will be cleared following each round of competition. A Junior is considered a Child who is 4-16 years old. Under 4 s will be admitted free of charge Gymnast Passes are only valid for their round of competition. Competing gymnasts will need to purchase a spectator ticket for the other round(s) that they wish to watch. Tickets are non-refundable but maybe exchanged for a different round. Please note it is not possible to order tickets via post or telephone. COMPETITION DAYS The draw will be included with your Competition Programme, which will be sent to you in advance. Where possible, gymnasts from the same club will be grouped together. Please do not contact us for precise timings prior to the entry closing date as these cannot be calculated until we know the number of gymnasts competing.
