Rules and Conditions of Entry 1. The Central Victorian Branch Show is conducted by the State Management Council, under the auspice of the Australian Stock Horse Society Ltd, and shall be run in accordance with the rules & regulations of the Society and Code of Conduct 2. Entire colts & stallions two years old & over must be bitted at all times. When tied, they must be double tied, and or hobbled. Colts & stallions will have priority for the available yards. If yards are all taken, they are to be double tied and hobbled at all times. 3. The judge s decision will be final. Any protest must be lodged within 30 minutes after the event and accompanied by a deposit of $100.00, which will be refunded if the protest is upheld. 4. The Committee reserves the right to cancel, combine or add to any class if it is deemed necessary. 5. The Committee reserves the right to refuse the entry of any person, and or refuse admittance to any person, as they deem necessary. 6. It is a condition of entry that all competitors and spectators, whether engaged in an event or not, do so at their own risk, and will indemnify and save harmless the Australian Stock Horse Society, its Committee, members, Servants and Sponsors from all claims, suits or demands arising out of and injury, personal or otherwise caused or arising out of their presence. 7. ALL HORSES are to be registered with the Australian Stock Horse Society Ltd., owned, handled or ridden by a current financial member. Membership and registration papers are to be produced on demand. 8. Participant Membership (if not full membership) must be paid in full to the Australian Stock Horse Society Ltd Head Office- before any person can handle ANY horse, in any way, on the day of the show. Temporary memberships will be available on the day. All riders and handlers must be financial. 9. All classes to be ridden in a plain snaffle bit. 10. All horses in the ridden classes are to have an approved competition ASH Saddle Blanket. 11. NO colts or stallions are permitted to be handled/ridden by persons under the age of 18 years. NO colts or stallions are permitted in youth classes. 12. HIGH POINT OF THE SHOW (*Denotes High Point Classes) Eligible Classes 1-6, 10-16, 18-23, 27-32, 37-45, 47-52 High Point Awards: 1 st = 4pts, 2 = 3pts, 3 rd = 2pts, 4 th = 1pts High Point of the Show: 1 st Sash and $60, 2 nd Sash and $40, 3 rd Sash and $30, 4 th Sash and $20 Junior High Point Eligible Classes J52, J54, J56, J58, J60, J62, J64, J66 Juvenile High Point Eligible Classes: J53, J55, J57, J59, J61, J63, J65 15. When competing in a Championship, exhibitors must wear the same attire they wore in the class they won. 16. All Juniors/Juveniles under 18 years must wear an ASA approved hard hat. No stallions or colts in junior/juvenile classes. 17. The Central Victorian Branch Show and Challenge is to be run under the A.S.H.S Drug Policy. 18. There will be no refunds on scratching s unless accompanied by either a medical or veterinary certificate. 19. Competitors must supply own number holder and numbers (horse number shall be provided with entry confirmation) 20. Competitor wrist band must be worn during events Elmore Events Centre Conditions Please Read - Please ensure that all rubbish and manure is disposed of properly. - The external gate is to be closed at all times. - NO STRAW is to be used in the day yards all day yard users must remove manure and deposit at the designated manure areas. No manure to be placed in rubbish bins. - No temporary yards are to be erected. - No painting of horse hooves allowed in the stable/wash bay area.
