2 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY All people entering the grounds, competitors and handlers, do so voluntarily. Neither the organising committee nor The Australian Stock Horse Society Limited, accept any liability for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever. The committee has the right to delete, defer or alter the programme on the day. Handlers & competitors must be suitable attired according to the ASHS Handbook - no joggers, no stud logo or jeans allowed. Horses must be bridled and saddled when ridden on the grounds. All horses except those ridden by youth competitors under 13 years - must be registered with the Australian Stock Horse Society Limited and membership papers must be produced on request, or you will be ineligible to compete. All Colts & Stallions must be handled & ridden or led by a person 18 years & over. Colts & Stallions when tied up must wear a collar and be double tied. Protests must be lodged in writing with a $ refundable fee if protest is upheld. A novice horse is a horse which has not won a novice or an open class except youth, consolation or a restricted age class. Intermediate Rider that not has won at ASH State, Royal or National level Amateur/owner is a person who owns or is an immediate family member of the owner of that horse and does not receive any monetary gains for breaking/showing/training/sponsorship of another person All competitors under 18 years of age must wear an Australian Stock Horse Approved equestrian helmet in all events including led & junior handler classes - junior judging is optional. All competitors must be members of the Australian Stock Horse Society. Junior Members competing in the Junior Judging may be eligible for selection for the Junior Judging competition at the 2019 Sydney Royal Easter Show. Membership & Registration Numbers must be supplied on purchase of ring tickets or Day Membership must be paid Swabbing will be carried out The committee has the right to refuse entries and not allow a person or horse to compete on the day. FUTURITIES Futurity Entries close Monday 1st October, NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED Entry Fee must be enclosed with nominations. Entry Fee- Yearling & 2yo - $ yo & 4yo - $40.00 No entry money will be refunded No replacement horses will be accepted. Maximum 70% of entry money for each class will be divided amongst the final 5 placegetters.. 13 Open Challenge Riders 18 yrs and over riding a registered ASH Horses must compete in all three qualifying events (1-3). Final placings will be determined on Hack, Working and Station Horse sections Amateur/Owner Challenge Must own the horse they ride. Must not get any monetary gain from Breaking/Training/Showing /Sponsoring horses from another person.
