O Exhibitors must complete an entry form and sign waiver for anyone under 18 years on day of show No event will be held for exhibitors competing in another ring. If you win a championship in one ring, please do not compete in the same event on the same horse in the second ring. HACKS, GALLOWAYS OR PONIES MAY ONLY COMPETE IN SHOW HUNTER CLASSES OR OPEN RIDDEN CLASSES, NOT BOTH. A First Season hack, Galloway or pony is not to have competed under saddle prior to the 1st January 2017 Stallions must be exhibited in led & ridden classes by person s 18 years & over. Exceptions: Ridden Shetland & Welsh Mountain Stallions with written parental consent. Pony Club uniform is acceptable for all events at this show. Exhibitor s age is taken as on the day of this show. Smartest on Parade events. Ribbons to 6 th place. A novice horse or pony has not won a first prize at an agricultural show. Local exhibitors must reside in the Alpine Shire or within a 30km radius of Myrtleford. All riders must wear protective headgear to the current Australian standard. The retaining harness must be secured & fastened at all times. Riders without approved headgear shall be ineligible to compete until rectified. This rule applies to all events, not just age competitions. GOOD HANDS: Competitors must compete in a plain snaffle bridle, no Hanoverian or dropped nosebands, no whips or spurs. Riders to be 10 to 14 years on day of show. The winner is eligible to compete in the final at the VAS Ltd Saddlehorse Championships in January 2018 Off The Track and Alabar Hero classes will be judged approximately 1.00pm. Classes in rings 1, 2 & 3 will cease whilst this is judged by judges from rings 2 & 3.

6 Off TRACK SADDLE CLASS Open to all thoroughbreds unraced or raced 4 years and over, over 14.2 hands who are registered with RISA (Racing Information Services Australia) Registrations will be checked. Racing name to be used where appropriate.
