McLaren s Shadow Race Middle-East Forza Tournament Ruleset TOURNAMENT RULES 1 Sign-Up Signup will be under https://www.battlefy.com/atyaf-eracing/ for the whole tournament. Participants will have to sign up and fill in the required information to participate. 1.1 Pre-Requisites for Participation To sign up for the McLaren Shadows Official GCC Qualifiers, you must confirm that: 1. He/she holds a GCC passport 2. He/she is 18 years of age at minimum 3. He/she has a good mastering of the English language 4. He/she will be able to travel to Bahrain from the 1 st to the 3 rd of November if qualified for the regional final. This includes parent or tutor approval if required. 5. He/she will be able to travel to the United Kingdom from Friday January 11 until Saturday January 19 to participate in the global Finals if he/she wins the regional final. This includes parent or tutor approval if required. 6. Be in a fit mental and physical condition. Ultimately, the winner of the McLaren Shadow Race Middle-East Final will be going to McLaren s Headquarters in the U.K. where he/she will have to go through multiple evaluations and competitions alongside the other 5 gamers qualified from the world over: Human Performance (4-6 hours testing fitness, reaction) Go-kart racing (Silverstone circuit) Non-competitive practice play (to get used to McLaren s e-racing simulation environment) Competitive racing play-offs (the three best out of the 6 gamers will enter the final round) Competitive racing final and winner announcement The global final lcompetition will take place using not only Microsoft Forza game, but also: Real Racing 3, iracing and rfactor 2. 1.2 Required Sign-up Information By clicking on Register you will be asked to provide the following information: July 2018 Page 1.

Discord ID All complaints, issues or any information request about the tournament will be handled through Discord. All submissions will be checked automatically. Confirmation or rejection of applications can take up to two hours. They will be checked on a first-come, first-serve basis. In case any problem is found in the information provided, signup will be rejected and the motive will be explained to the applicant. 2 Online Qualifiers There will be 8 qualifiers in total, taking place over 4 week-ends. To be eligible to compete in the McLaren Shadow Project GCC qualifier, you must complete at least 4 OF THE 8 RACES. Your best time for each qualifier must be submitted BEFORE the deadline. Submission board will be closed at midnight. If you encounter a problem uploading your submission, you must immediately notify the tournament admin through Discord. You must keep a complete video of the result you posted: if you are in the top 30 of the leaderboard, you shall need to submit immediately upon request a video to the Discord channel. After reviewing the videos, we reserve the right to impose penalty or disqualify any result submitted. In this event, the tournament admin will notify you with the reasons behind this decision. We reserve the right to add, delete or change rules at any time during the tournament, especially if any glitch is found. All decisions by the tournament organizers about any aspect of the tournament are final. 2.4 Submissions 2.4.1 Scores July 2018 Page 4.
All players will have to register their best time on the website s leaderboard within the given timeframe. No submissions will be accepted after the deadline of each race s submission. 2.4.2 Videos You must systematically keep a XBox video record of the fastest time you have submitted. If you are among the top 30 in a specific race, they will be asked to submit this video through the Discord channel. Note: Any submission on other platforms such as Instagram or Twitter will not be accepted. 1.1.1 Marshaling Upon receiving the videos, the tournament organizers will view them, and apply any penalty point that they deem necessary if it appears that a breach of the game rules has occurred. In which instance, the registry on the leaderboard will be modified, and the gamer will be notified of the reason behind the penalty applied. 1.1.2 Questions and issues Players can ask questions and report issues in the Discord channel and social media. However, if a player has an issue in submitting scores and video, they must contact the admins as soon as it happens. Note: Players must notify the admin of their issue in submitting their score BEFORE the submission deadline. Any claim made after the deadline will NOT be accepted. 1.2 Qualified Gamers Upon running all 8 races, the organizers will consider the aggregate leaderboard, taking into consideration the sum of the 4 top scores of each gamer. The top 16 will be announced as qualified on all social media, and will be contacted individually. They will need to provide proof of their age, passport, right to travel, availability on the dates of the final event in Bahrain, and of their ability to travel to the United Kingdom in January 2019 if winner of the GCC Final. They will also need to provide their consent for a right to image for the tournament organizers, whereby they accept to feature on pictures, videos and other reasonable multimedia material that the organizers and their associates will produce around the tournament. Failure by any of the 16 gamers to provide such proof will lead to his/her immediate exclusion, and the next in line in the aggregate leaderboard will be asked to participate. 2 Live Finals The Finals will take place in Seef Mall, Manama, in the following way: 2.1 Schedule The 16 qualified gamers will be arrive in Bahrain on the Thursday evening. Competitions will start on Friday, November 2 nd @ 2 PM with a format of 4 gamers per group, with 3 races each time. 2.4 Other Obligations The 16 qualified gamers shall notably agree to: Wear attire provided by the organizers; Follow the schedule provided for the week-end in a timely manner; Be available for photo shoots, interviews, videos, etc.; Behave at all times in a suitable and respective manner, and refrain at all costs from provoking, aggressing or in any other way offending the other participants, the organizers, their associates and all their staff, the public or anyone else.
