A WHITE COLLAR STYLE BOXING EVENT Resort Le Meridien Ile Maurice, Pointe aux Piments, Mauritius THE CONCEPT In front of approximately 350 guests enjoying a three-course black tie dinner, two teams of white collar boxers will take part in the first ever event of its type in Mauritius THE COMPETITORS Each competitor will complete a 10 week intensive training programme under the supervision of the Mauritius National Boxing Centre coaches and staff at their facilities in Vacoas THE BOUTS Each bout is a major test of skill, stamina and commitment, supervised by an experienced referee. Each competitior will compete in three two-minute rounds with head guards being compulsory. Competitors will enter the ring in true Vegasstyle with an entourage of corner men, trainers, sponsors, ring girls and music of their choice. THE GUESTS All guest will enjoy reception drinks and canapés in Le Meridiens reception lobby bar, a three-course dinner and drinks, 8 bouts of boxing, DJ and post-bout party until midnight. Weekly video footage of training and interviews will be placed online where followers can review progress and get to know the competitors. BRANDING AND ON-SITE ACTIVITY Use the event for branding above and beyond the usual banners and logos. Take advantage of logos on a fighter, provide a trophy or award for a specific fight or the whole night, run your advert on the monitors and screens on the fight night, reach guests with samples or gifts at dining the table or tables, host competitions, invite you own VIP guests to your own table, fully catered with a 3 course dinner and drinks.
