Purpose-built for the manufacture of fibreglass swimming pools, it allows us to build a technologically superior product of the highest quality. Each of our pools is manufactured in accordance with a Quality Management System as per the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001. The strength of our pools is backed by an Extended Lifetime Structural Warranty and the world s first Lifetime Interior Surface Guarantee* with every Pool ColourGuard pool. We can proudly boast to having our own gelcoat production division with two in-house industrial chemists. We are able to freshly batch our gelcoats on a daily basis, allowing them to be modified to suit ambient weather conditions, producing a better product. POOLS BUILT TO AUSTRALIAN STANDARDS Product Certification AS NZS 1838 BMP No 520101 Obtaining accreditation to build a fibreglass pool to the Australian Standard 1838:1994 means being measured and tested by an authorised, independent auditor. This accreditation is not easily achieved. Anyone can say they build to or above the Australian Standard. For your peace of mind, always ask for a license number ours is BMP 520101. Full-size ribbing system reinforces the pool and makes it structurally independent when installed in a sandy hole, eliminating the need for secondary engineering works. POOL STRUCTURE Full depth walls* for maximum swim area Ribs at 300mm centres where depth exceeds 1.5m for extra structural support Fibreglass support struts under benches, seats and swim outs ensure they remain level with the rest of the pool and improve its strength and integrity. EDGE BEAM DETAIL Standard 200mm edge beam, designed so the pool is structurally sound without having to add secondary engineering works #, such as a concrete ring beam. Pavers designed to fit perfectly, with no concrete ring beam needed, so no chance of cracking through expansion at different rates. Most paving companies have designed their pool headers to fit 200mm edge beams. Full width floors for maximum swim area 45 degree baffle engineered and designed to support the horizontal area of the edge beam Underside of walk-in steps fully enclosed with fibreglass to prevent voids in backfill STEP REINFORCEMENT Steps fully supported on backfill, which can easily and effectively be placed around the pool to sustain the entire pool structure. Without the support structures, it would be impossible to ensure the backfill is consolidated under the step area. COMMERCIAL POOLS For as long as we have been installing our pools into the backyards of WA families, we have also been completing commercial projects, both big and small. GETTING STARTED Once you have selected the perfect pool from our huge range of award-winning swimming pool models, the good news is the hard part is over! Aqua Technics will take it from here and make all necessary arrangements on your behalf with a commitment to guiding you right through the entire process. Step 1. Step 2. Step 3 Once a site inspection is completed Aqua Technics will take care of Shire and Water Corporation approvals and paperwork on your behalf. A template of your pool is laid out on the ground and the site is excavated by a bobcat. Your new pool is carefully lowered in by crane and checked to ensure it is perfectly level. Step 4. Step 5. Step 6 We backfill around your pool and connect the pump, filter and electrics. The water goes in! The landscaping is completed and a handover conducted where we show you how everything works and how to care for your pool. 34

POOL BUYER'S CHECKLIST Is your pool builder accredited to AS/NZS 1838:1994 and ISO 9001 Quality Management System? Always ask for a license number. Is your pool builder using Pool ColourGuard technology for pool colour guaranteed not to fade? Is your pool manufactured in WA to suit local conditions? Does your pool have full-size structural ribs along the walls, making it independently structural? Does your pool have a 200mm full-size edge beam, making it structurally sound without having to add secondary engineering works? Are the bench, seat and swim out areas adequately supported and can easily be backfilled? If there is a large entry area, are there integrated support struts that form part of the structure in the design? Does your pool have full depth walls and full width floors for maximum swimming area? Are all fittings fibreglassed to the shell to eliminate leaking and provide additional structural integrity? Does your pool builder have an onsite gelcoat manufacturing facility, with daily batching for a better product?
