Of these methods, the method of ensuring required cpcity by thinning the dielectric film gretly reduces the withstnd voltge chrcteristics. The most common method is therefore by using fine tntlum powder to enlrge the surfce re of the node per unit re. The TM type hs been enlrged in cpcity nd reduced in size by tking full dvntge of fine powder (hereinfter referred to s "high- V powder"). In recent yers, however, technicl dvnces hve been remrkble in downsizing nd cpcity expnsion in the industry of multilyer cermic cpcitors. The dvntge of TMs is therefore being chllenged. To keep the dvntge in competing with cermic cpcitors tody, it is impertive to use high-v powder to upgrde the TMs. Hitchi I is plnning to mke yet nother fmily of products.
