More Red and White Night Info Red & White Night News Sold Out!: Red & White Night is SOLD OUT! Thank you to all of the amazing Blessed Trinity families and event sponsors that have rallied to support this important night for our school. If you did not purchase tickets, you can still support this event by volunteering the evening of March 3rd! Please call the main school office to let us know. It's going to be a full house and we will need as much help facilitating the live and silent auctions as possible. And, if your business or family would still like to sponsor the event, sponsorship is still available! You will still receive all the amenities besides a table. What are We Raising Funds For?: The funds raised at this year's Red & White Night will go towards a significant investment in enhanced security measures for our school. More than ever, we want to proactively adopt safety systems and technologies that will help maintain a safe learning environment for our staff and students. Event Details: Red & White is scheduled for Saturday, March 3rd. This year's theme is "A Night Under the Stars." The silent auction and cocktail hour will open at 6pm. Dinner and live auction will begin at 7:45pm. Attire is dressy cocktail with some "sparkle and shine". Save the Date: 8 th Grade Dinner Dance The 2018 8th grade dinner dance, A Red Carpet Affair, will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Country Club of Ocala. The event takes place from 6:30-10:00pm. IOWA Testing Useful Parent Resource Links Paper Copies of the following can be found in the School Front Office Elementary & Middle School Choir Extended Day Parent Plus Parish Day Care Carline Notes Elementary: Cars should utilize both lanes in the morning and in the afternoon. Middle School: The carline should be single file in the mornings. Please DO NOT drop students off either in front of the gym or at the crossroads in front of the outside basketball courts. ALWAYS drive forward to the picnic tables. This is for the safety of our students. You have time! Tardies do not start until 7:55. Thank You! Both lanes will be open in the afternoon.

Re-Registration Class Picture Notes Order Your Student s Class Picture! To order your student s class picture, please visit the Leonard s website, www.leonards.com. Log in with your existing log in information or create a new account. The access code for class pictures is G413655. You will then be able to select (or add) students and choose between the class picture (package 1 - $15) or the laminated class picture (package 2-$18). Class pictures will be delivered to the school. We will distribute them as they arrive. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Hildner in the school office.

Trinity Catholic Carnival Trinity Catholic High School Winter Carnival February 22 25 th Get your pre-sale VIP tickets now. You can purchase them at the BT school office or on the TC website. Trinitycatholichs.org/carnival Tickets are $20 each and can be used for an armband on any one day of the carnival. Raffle tickets are also available on the website. $1 each or 12 for $10 Prizes are $1,000 cash, $500 Gas Card and various restaurant/retail gift cards The Return of MyCokeRewards Last year, Coca-Cola Co. made changes to their MyCokeRewards program. One of the changes was to bring back the school donation program. Blessed Trinity, once again, has the ability to enter codes from all Coca-Cola products to earn money for our school. Please bring in the codes from bottle tops, 12-pack boxes and/or plastic cases and turn them into the front office if you d like to help. Thank you to the following students and families for bringing in codes: Aldyn Rowe, the Morales family, Catherine Pallesen, Mrs. Waller, and an anonymous donor. Thanks and keep them coming! Box Tops Last year, Coca Our Box Top Spring Collection has begun. We are asking 1 st 8 th grade classes to bring in 500 Box Tops and Kindergarten classes to bring in 400. Classes meeting the goal will earn an out of uniform day. Deadline for this collection is Wednesday, April 4. Thank you to the many families who participate in this very easy fundraiser for our school. Save the Date for the BT Talent Show! Blessed Trinity Parish is going to have a talent show in the Parish Hall on Sunday, March 4 th, at 2pm. All ages, talents (not just singing or music!), and even groups are welcome to showcase your gifts. Save the date and start practicing! Pick up a sign up sheet at the school or church office. 8 th Grade Photos Thank you to all that have already submitted photos. If you have not yet submitted your graduate s baby photo, see the following message from Mr. D Ambrosio: Low resolution photos cannot be used in the graduation presentation and I request that you please use the following guidelines when sending me your child s baby photo: Student should be 0 12 months of age in photo One picture only! Photo resolution should be at least 640 X480 (the higher the better) 300 DPI Preferred (200 DPI Minimum) Do not use your phone or tablet to take a photo of the photo If you do not have a scanner, please send the photo in with your child. I will scan and return the photo the same day. Please email me, adambrosio@btschool.org, in advance if you choose to send the photo in with your child. School Request Maintenance The maintenance team would like to have a can of Lysol in every classroom. If possible, can you please donate a can of Lysol spray? Thank you. 7 Habits Parent Training Listed are the dates for 7 Habits training sessions for parents. All training sessions are held in the school library from 8:00 9:00 a.m. and again from 6:00 7:00 p.m. The next training session is scheduled for Thursday, February 15. March 22 Habit 6 April 12 Habit 7 BT Full Time Mantenance Position Blessed Trinity is seeking a qualified individual to join the parish maintenance staff. Applicant should have some knowledge and experience in the following areas: minor electrical, minor plumbing, HVAC, painting, trimming and mowing, general repairs. This is a fulltime position 40 hours/week, Monday Friday, 7:00 p.m. 3:30 p.m. All employees of the Diocese of Orlando are required to successfully complete fingerprinting and background screening. Athletic News Track Next week s schedule Tuesday, February 27: Oak Hall Middle School Meet Who: 6 th -8 th grade track team Where: Oak Hall School located at 8009 SW 14 th Ave., Gainesville, FL 32607 Notes: Middle School Track athletes will be dismissed to the gym at 2:00. Team members should wear their PE uniform until shirts are completed (gray T-shirt if possible). Students have a list of scheduled events. Thursday, March 1: Track Meet vs. St. John/Cornerstone Who: 5 th -8 th grade track team Where: Brick City Park located at 1211 SE 22 nd Rd., Ocala, FL 34471 Notes: Team members should arrive at Brick City after school ends. We will not dismiss early. Team members may choose to compete in any, and as many, of the events that they choose. Booster Basketball Booster Basketball sign-ups have begun and will run through March 9 th. We are attempting to split Booster Basketball into 2 divisions, a K-2 nd Developmental Division and a 3 rd -4 th JV Prep Division. In order to do this, we need a minimum of 24 players in each division, so sign up now. You can get more details and download the sign-up form HERE. We will also need 3 volunteer & fingerprinted coaches for each division. Booster Cheer We will also start K-4 th Booster Cheerleading this year. You can get more details and download the sign-up form HERE. Special Recognition BT alum, Brittany Bowe, has been competing in Speed Skating events at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Peyongchang. After coming close to medaling in the 1,500 M, 1,000 M and 500M, Brittany was able to medal in her last event, winning Bronze in the Team Pursuit. Way to go Brittany! EDGE Catholic Roots Friday 3/2 February Edge Meeting 6:30-9:00 in the Parish Hall All middle school students, join us in the Parish Hall as we look at our Catholic Roots found in the Jewish covenant. The evening will explore God s covenant with the Jewish people and how it is a foreshadowing of the Covenant God has made with us through the Eucharist and the sacraments. We will share a light symbolic Seder Dinner (Passover) while connecting with the Passion of Christ and how it relates to how we Worship. There will be games, activities, great discussion, and many friends. The symbolic Seder dinner will be light food, therefore if you are able to contribute, please bring a Green snack to share, in honor of St. Patrick s Day. The meeting will formally start promptly at 6:35, so please be sure to be there and signed in before that time. The night is jammed packed, activity filled and sure to be a lot of fun! Edge Help with Mass Sunday, March 4th 5:00 (Life Teen) Life Teen will be away on retreat the weekend of March 4th and has asked Edge to help cover the roles for the Sunday 5:00 Mass. Edge has agreed to cover and will need readers, servers, and ushers.
