ANGRY CANDY ACT NAME: Angry Candy CATEGORY: Rock Band HOMETOWN: Moncton, NB NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN ACT: Five AGES: 28 37 THEIR STORY: Angry Candy is a full band with a piano, bass, guitar, drums and vocals. When it comes to music, they feel like their group is fairly diverse in what they do. Angry Candy started playing together in 2006, as a trio (guitar, bass and vocals) playing in local pubs and bars. People were always asking for a full band version of their songs. At their fans request, six months later they expanded and formed Angry Candy, the full band, playing old rock, soul and blues songs. They have been playing a solid four to seven nights a week ever since. Most people would be surprised to learn that Angry Candy has a very wide range of musical backgrounds - from Mozart to Metallica.

ANGELA & RALLY ACT NAME: Angela & Rally CATEGORY: Animal Act HOMETOWN: Harriston, ON OCCUPATION: Animal Nutritionist AGES: 39 & 7 HER STORY: This act originated because Angela was looking for an outlet for Rally s energy. She saw some videos of canine freestyle disc and thought it would be something fun to try. Angela has been training with Rally since he was a puppy. Although some tricks may have been easier to teach than others, in general, a lot of time, patience and practice are required to reach the level they have achieved. What seems straightforward in her mind or on paper is never quite as planned when she adds Rally to the equation. Training with dogs has taught Angela patience, as dogs need more mental and physical breaks while training than humans do. Angela and Rally`s communication combines both verbal and physical cues, and timing and understanding each other is the key to having it all come together. They have competed all across North America, winning several trophies and awards. The highlight for Angela and Rally was winning the 2009 World s Pairs Freestyle Championships in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

ZERO GRAVITY CIRCUS ACT NAME: Zero Gravity Circus (Aygul Memet) CATEGORY: Circus Performer HOMETOWN: Toronto, ON NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN ACT: Two AGES: 36 & 22 HER STORY: Aygul learned how to use the hula hoop in the Chinese Circus when she was just eight years old. She was forced to escape from her occupied country and moved to Canada as an adult. She now has three children, who have only recently joined her in Canada. When Aygul arrived in Canada, she started training with Zero Gravity Circus. Aygul enjoys her new circus studio and feels she has learned so many important lessons. Aygul enjoys performing in front of an audience and most importantly she is very passionate about her art form. She may make using hoops look like a piece of cake, but Aygul will sometimes practice up to eight hours a day.

BROKEN DANCE ACT NAME: Broken Dance CATEGORY: Traditional Dance Group HOMETOWN: Mississauga, ON NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN ACT: 10 AGES: 19-25 THEIR STORY: Broken Dance has a purpose, to showcase South Asian Dance to Canada. This not only includes Bollywood, which is a big aspect of their group, but also other unique styles of dance native to India. They would like Canada to see their talent as South Asians, but also as Canadians. Broken Dance represents what Canada is all about, which is diversity and multiculturalism, and of course ambition and talent. Broken Dance started when Chase Constantino wanted to form a group to showcase the talents in South Asian dance. He contacted some of the best South Asian dancers he knew, which were also some of his best friends, to join him and help him carry this vision. Their entry into Canada s Got Talent started with the dream to showcase their choreography and vision with Canada.

CHRISTOPHER CHARLES ACT NAME: Christopher Charles CATEGORY: Solo Singer HOMETOWN: Hamilton, ON OCCUPATION:Store Manager at G.N.C AGE: 30 HIS STORY: Christopher is a singer/songwriter who plays the guitar and piano. Christopher has a unique way of playing the guitar: he plays a drum beat while strumming. Christopher started creating his own musical compositions from a very young age, and he added the drumming on the guitar about four or five years ago. I hear so much music in my head and I guess the natural progression was to try and bring it out somehow, said Christopher. He feels that it is best to remove his ego before a performance and give himself entirely to the audience. Christopher finds it takes away much of his nerves and helps him focus on what he is really here to do, which is to raise the vibration of everyone listening and create a good, positive energy. So far, the Canada s Got Talent experience has been one that Christopher will never forget.

CRAZ E CREW STUNT TEAM ACT NAME: Craz E Crew Stunt Team CATEGORY: Bike Stunt Performers HOMETOWN: Ottawa, ON NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN ACT: Five AGES: 23-37 THEIR STORY: The story of the Craz E Crew Stunt Team started with one late-night discussion about how great it would be to have a job doing what they love: promoting and performing stunts on bikes, skateboards and in-line skates. The group started doing shows at their school in front of teachers and friends. Over the next few years, the group went on countless Canadian tours and visited many cities, performing at fairs and exhibitions in every province. It was on these tours that they were able to discover Canada in the best way possible, performing and having the time of their lives. After a few years of successful Canadian entertainment, a good friend of the group gave them a unique chance to discover new places to express their talent. This helped them with the chance to perform in places they would have never thought possible. Now, 20 years later, they are currently the largest and most popular action sports thrill show in Canada and one of the biggest in the world.

DADDY COOL ACT NAME: Daddy Cool CATEGORY: Dance Group HOMETOWN: Montreal, QC NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN ACT: 13 AGES: 27-51 THEIR STORY: Daddy Cool is an all-male adult dance group that performs break-dance and hip hop choreography. It all started four years ago while attending a dance class with their spouses. Being their macho, male selves, they commented on how easy the class was for them, which prompted their dance teacher to challenge them to put their money where their mouths were and show up for the next session which they did. Daddy Cool has been dancing together ever since. The group believes that they show that it s possible to participate in the same kind of activities they did as children, without limiting themselves to their age. There is something a little bit crazy about being over 40, and dancing hip hop and break-dance, but it keeps our minds and hearts young, said David Trudeau of Daddy Cool. The group feels that a direct consequence of forming this group is that it actually helps them stay in touch with their kids and today s mindset and trends.

EMILIO FINA ACT NAME: Emilio Fina CATEGORY: Opera Singer HOMETOWN: Petersburg, ON OCCUPATION: Air Canada Attendant AGE: 39 HIS STORY: Emilio s story began when his mother heard him singing along with television commercials as a toddler and subsequently put him in the church choir as a boy soprano when he was 10 years old. Emilio pursued his passion for classical music at the Royal Conservatory of Music and through private lessons. Since then, Emilio has been married for 11 years and has four wonderful children. His obligations to his loving family have made it hard for him to properly pursue a career in music. While Emilio still practices the art of opera, he is a full-time lead station attendant for Air Canada. Emilio believes that providing the necessities of life for his family is more important than anything else. For his Canada s Got Talent audition, Emilio was nervous so he changed his song one hour before and was quite happy with the results. Emilio is inspired by the Canadian tenors, Mark Dubois / American tenor, Rockwell Blake / Italian tenor, Luciano Pavarotti.

ENIGMA DANCE PRODUCTIONS ACT NAME: Enigma Dance Productions CATEGORY: Dance Group HOMETOWN: Montreal, QC NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN ACT: Six AGES: 19-25 THEIR STORY: Enigma Dance Productions first started when one of the group members, Melanie Weinstein, lost a very close family friend to Lymphoma. After he passed away, his family created a fund called Vision of Hope in his honor. Melanie wanted to get the younger generation involved in this worthy cause, so she decided to put her talents to good use. Melanie and her group produced Enigma for two years, and during that time they raised $140,000 for the oncology ward. Enigma Dance performed to two sold-out audiences, and has been recognized throughout the province, always keeping with the same motto: What cannot be said through words, can be spoken through movement. This act consists of a select group from the cast, and together they have had the opportunity to be featured on stage and screen performances all over the world, and now they cannot wait for their next adventure on Canada s Got Talent. They all believe that this is truly a dream come true

ERIC SAINTONGE ACT NAME: Eric Saintonge CATEGORY: Circus Performer HOMETOWN: Montreal, QC NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN ACT: One AGE: 37 HIS STORY: Eric Saintonge is a circus artist that specializes in the use of a hoop (a Cyr wheel) that is approximately six feet in diameter. With this hoop, he can spin like one spins a coin. Eric started doing Cyr wheel in 2004 when he was hired by Cirque Éloize to replace an artist on a show and one of the disciplines of this artist was Cyr wheel. I try to be the best in everything that I do, from fatherhood to Cyr wheel, said Eric. He admits that it was quite difficult at the beginning. Eric had many falls, bruises and lots of hours of practice. One of the convenient things about the Cyr wheel is that Eric can practice and perform in a relatively small space, so there is no stopping him
