Delivering strong hockey across all levels. Providing programmes for players and coaches. Acknowledging loyal members who have served the club for many years.
Overview 2016 another successful year The Howick Pakuranga Hockey Club (HPHC) continues to be one of the largest hockey clubs in New Zealand with 782 members: 288 seniors /160 youth / 334 juniors. An increase from 680 members in 2015. Club fielded: 27 Junior teams/ 10 Youth Boys & Girls teams/ 15 Senior Men & Women's teams Strong representation for National and Auckland representatives across the club: 65 representative players / 3 coaches Special thanks to all coaches, managers, umpires for their commitment and support throughout the season Highlights achieved include: Life Members Day - 11 June 2016 John Daniel Academy junior / youth / senior players Coaching programme for players & coaches at all levels HPHC Service Awards & Long Standing Membership certificates HPHC Premier Caps - 50/ 100/ 150/ 200 premier games Strategic Plan developed for 2016-2018 section 01 Overview 3

Auckland Competition Senior competitions 288 players The club fielded 15 senior teams and 9 teams were in the top 4 of the competition. Premier & Premier Reserve women were in the finals. Premier women won the Intercity A grade. Auckland Competition Youth & Junior competitions 160 youth & 334 junior players The club fielded 6 youth boys teams and 4 youth girls teams. 4 teams were in the top 3 of the competitions. Premier A Manchester boys & Champion A Tarrant boys teams were in the finals. Youth Premier Boys Manchester team Juniors fielded 27 teams including Fun Sticks, Mini Sticks, Kiwi Sticks, Kiwik Sticks teams. All teams were competitive and catered for a range of ability and experience. Auckland Competition 6
