AND NATIONWIDE A PARTNERSHIP ON THE FAST TRACK Dale Earnhardt Jr. is a third-generation driver in a family forever connected to the sport of stock-car racing, and while his innate ability behind the wheel comes from Earnhardt DNA, his competitive driving style and keen business sense are all his own. Dale Jr. started his racing career at the age of 17 in the Street Stock division at Motorsport Park in Concord, N.C. He quickly honed his skills and moved up to the NASCAR XFINITY Series, where he won back-to-back championships in 1998 and 1999. Dale Jr. joined the top tier of NASCAR and quickly proved himself proficient at the sport s fastest tracks by winning an unprecedented 4 consecutive restrictor plate races at Talladega Superspeedway. The 2016 season marks Earnhardt s 17th full-time year in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition. Through 2015, the native of Kannapolis, North Carolina, has amassed 26 career victories, including the 2004 and 2014 Daytona 500s. His 26 victories tie him for 27th on NASCAR s all-time race winners list. In 2009, Dale Jr. teamed up with a new partner in the racing world: Nationwide Insurance. This partnership was an extension of his family s longtime relationship with Nationwide off the track the Earnhardt family has trusted Nationwide for their insurance needs for more than 35 years. His commitment to philanthropy and community were just one of the reasons our partnership was a natural fit: The Dale Jr. Foundation is a charity focusing on providing underprivileged youth the resources to improve their confidence, education and goals. He also is involved with the MakeA-Wish Foundation, and in May 2010, the Foundation recognized Earnhardt as one of only a handful of athletes who has facilitated more than 200 wishes for kids battling terminal or life-threatening illnesses. WHAT TO EXPECT ON RACE DAY FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS The Nationwide Sports Marketing team is thrilled to have you join us for a one-of-a-kind race day experience exclusively for Nationwide guests. We ll take you behind the scenes of NASCAR through offerings of enhanced programming, special appearances, unmatched access, and premium food and beverage, all from the comfort of Nationwide s mobile hospitality unit. You ll enjoy guided tours through the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garage along with special appearances by select NASCAR personalities, including Dale Earnhardt Jr. You ll also have access to a branded FanVision scanner device and headset that will allow you to listen in on participating drivers and their crew chiefs throughout the race. You ll even have an opportunity to be entered into a raffle to be a No. 88 honorary crew member. Four names will be drawn and the winners will have a photo opportunity with Dale Jr. and the No. 88 car. We look forward to seeing you there! QUESTIONS When should I plan to arrive at the track (If I am driving myself)? Where do I park (If I am driving msyelf)? Where are my seats located? ANSWERS You ll get an email with suggested arrival times prior to the event. Please allow plenty of time to arrive at the track as speedway traffic is generally heavy upon ingress and egress. Parking information will be communicated to you in the week before the race. Traditionally, general parking areas around the track will be free. Nationwide has a special mobile hospitality unit that will act as the main hub for your race day experience. You will spend the day enjoying exclusive programming and will view the race from the unit once it begins (sky deck or lower level). What can I bring with me? We recommend you bring a camera, light jacket, and any other personal items fitting your needs for a full race day outdoors. Do I need to bring ear plugs? Nationwide will provide ear plugs, as needed. Will I have the opportunity to meet a NASCAR Driver? There will be special driver appearances scheduled throughout your race day which will offer a Q&A session and group photo. The roster of drivers could include Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Danica Patrick, media personalities, No. 88 team members, and more. 4 5

ANSWERS NASCAR will make every effort to complete the race should inclement weather occur. If the weather is too severe, NASCAR reserves the right to postpone the race to a later start time and/or date. No refunds will be offered based on weather. The length of the race may vary depending upon track conditions, weather delays, etc. but NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races generally last around 4 hours. A featured menu will be available inside the Nationwide hospitality space throughout the race day along with beer, wine, sodas and water for your enjoyment. If you have food allergies, please let your host know so proper accommodations can be made. Danica Patrick is considered to be one of the most successful female auto racers and was named the Rookie of the Year for both the 2005 Indianapolis 500 and the 2005 IndyCar Series season. Born in Wisconsin, her racing career began at the age of 10 with kart racing in her hometown. In 2005, Danica became only the fourth woman in the history of auto racing to qualify for the Indianapolis 500. After becoming the first woman to win an IndyCar championship event in 2007, Danica started the transition from open-wheel cars to the stock car ranks of NASCAR in 2010. In 2013, she became the first female driver to win a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pole award, turning in the fastest qualifying lap to start on the pole in the Daytona 500. Based on the race day schedule and track regulations, you may receive pre-race access to explore special areas including Pit Road or the track surface. Nationwide will also offer guided tours through the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garage during the race day. Will re-entry be allowed if we decide to leave and return?
