-2- north of the southwest corner thereof, run southeasterly at an angle of 44 degrees 46 minutes 27 seconds from said west section line (measured from south to east) for 1002.84 feet; thence deflect to the left at an angle of 00 degrees 00 minutes 45 seconds for 697.97 feet to the point of beginning of Line 1 to be described; thence deflect to the right at an angle of 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds for 85 feet; thence deflect to the left an a tangential curve having a radius of 60 feet and a delta angle of 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds for 94.25 feet and there terminating; containing 0.11 acre, more or less; have petitioned to the City Council to have such land included within the City Limits of the City of Thief River Falls and havefiled copies of said Petition with the Municipal Board of the State of Minnesota, with the Town Board of the Township of Rocksbury of the County of Pennington and State of Minnesota, and with the County of Pennington and State of Minnesota, and with the County Board of the County of Pennington, State of Minnesota, and WHEREAS, The above-described property abuts upon the boundaries of the City of Thief River Falls, and WHEREAS, No objections to the proposed annexation have been submitted, NOW, THEREFORE, t is hereby determined that the annexation of said premises will be to the best interests of the City of Thief River Falls and of the territory affected and the above-described premises are hereby declared annexed to the City of Thief River Falls. Section 2. City Code Chapter 20, Listing of Uncoded Annexation Ordinances is hereby amended by addition of the

The boundaries of the City of Thief River Falls are changed to reflect the annexation of the tract described as follows: All that part of Government Lot l of Section Two (2), Township One Hundred Fifty-three North (T.l53N.), Range Forty-three West (R.43W.), Pennington County, Minnesota, described as follows: Beginning at a point which lies 131.8 feet East and 33 feet South from the Northwest Corner of said Section Two; thence South 41 degrees 01 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 282.5 feet; thence East along a line parallel to the North line of said Section Two to the Centerline of Minnesota State Highway No. 59; thence North 41 degrees 01 minutes 00 seconds West along said Centerline a distance of 282.5 feet; thence West along a line parallel to and 33 feet south of the North line of said Section Two to the point of beginning, containing 5.5 acres, more or less. Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after Jan. 1, 1986, approval, publication and filing with the Municipal Boa:rd, The Town Clerk of Rocksbury Township, the Pennington County Auditor, and the Secretary of State of the State of Minnesota.
