AROUND SCHOOL NURSE S CORNER Parents, We have a lot of children out sick right now with many different medical issues. This is what I know about: 1. High Fevers- unsure if this is a bacterial or viral medical issue 2. Stomach Virus- both with fever and without 3. Strep Throat 4. Head Lice- we still have multiple cases of Head Lice. -- Please check your child each week and let me know if they are positive as they must be rechecked and cleared by me to return to school. Please be sure to keep your child home until they are fever free for 24 hours without medication and also have NOT been vomiting or having diarrhea for 24 hours and tolerating food.
