Arena 1 classes 1-6 indoor ARENA Riders in Arena 1 are NOT permitted to enter any classes in Arena 2 Class 1 Fences maximum 50cm Members no outside assistance permitted. Class 1 is not open to riders/horse combination jumping in Classes 4, 5 or 6. Class 2 Fences maximum 60cm Members, no outside assistance permitted. RULES ELIGIBILITY This competition is open to all. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY The judge s decision is final. Entry fees will not be refunded after the closing date 11.10.2018 All individual and team entries to be made online to www.horse-events.co.uk CLASS SPECIFIC RULES All classes will run under Pony Club rules. In classes 7, 8 and 9 a pony may be ridden by two different riders in the same class. In all remaining classes the following rules will apply: No horse may compete in more than 2 classes or be ridden more than once in each class. Teams in classes run under Pony Club rules may include riders riding more than one horse/pony Single Phase Single Phase Competition (course in two parts with second part timed.) Competitors to jump both parts unless eliminated. Faults to be accumulated. DENGIE For Classes 4 & 5 additional Dengie rules apply, for full details http://www.pcuk. org/uploads/showjumping/dengie_series-_2018_rules_v2.pdf RUNNING ORDER - Classes will run in the following order: Pony Club teams then Pony Club individuals then Open Individuals. Competitors jump only once in each class. Competitors are responsible for being ready to compete when called. Please declare at your class at least 10 minutes before your start time. TEAMS Teams to consist of 3 or 4 riders. Best 3 scores will count. Competitors jump only once whether individual or team. TEAM MANAGERS Only the Team Manager of each Pony Club Branch is to deal with the secretary for declarations, enquiries, objections etc. It is the responsibility of the team manager to declare their competitors on arrival at the venue. Objections must be made in writing to the Secretary within 5 minutes of the conclusion of the relevant class with a 50 deposit. Video or photographic evidence is not admissible TV/ PHOTOGRAPHY/WEBSITE/PRESS Please note that professional photographers (SBM Photographic) will be present and photographs available to purchase on the day. REFRESHMENTS Will be available from onsite indoor cafe DOGS Must be kept under control and on a lead at all times. HELMETS Pony Club riders must have hats which have been tagged. MEDICS Will be in attendance. DISCLAIMER The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards. Any damages must be paid for. Vehicles, boxes and trailers and are parked entirely at the owner s risk and the organisers will not be liable for any claims in respect of damage, loss or injury to any person, whether spectator, competitor, horse or property howsoever caused, in connection with or arising out of the competition. CANCELLATION The organisers reserve the right to cancel the event, in which case entry fees will be refunded (less 2 per competitor).
