Website: www.crossroadsanglers.com Meeting Date: Tuesday, January 25, 2011: (Mtg. Start Time: 6:30pm & Ends at 9:30pm) FROM THE PRESIDENT: Winter has arrived and with it comes the fly fishing show in Marlboro. It s always a great way to spend a winters day. Talking to friends we haven t seen in awhile, looking at what s new in equipment and perhaps planning a trip to some far off destination. I always enjoy visiting the tying area looking at new and old flies and learning a trick or two. Scott will be holding his Bear s Den show in Taunton on February 20th, and we are looking for people to spend a few hours at the club table. The club will be holding the annual elections for officers and board members at the January meeting. We would like to have one or two people step up and join the board for the year. The club is only as good as what we as members are willing to put back into it. We have a solid core of individuals who are willing to donate their time and keep the club functioning. The club should not be dependent on the same small group of people year after year. Please think about stepping forward and donating a couple of hours a month to the club See you at the shows. David Ferretti AGENDA 6:30pm 7pm Club business and board member elections for 2011, followed by a presentation. Bob Rifchin will give a presentation on how best to fish the worm hatch that will appeal to both fresh & salt-water fly-fishing enthusiasts. *PLEASE NOTE, THAT CLUB DUES ARE DUE FOR THE 2011 YEAR, EFFECTIVE AT THE JANUARY CLUB MEETING. DUES FOR 2011 ARE $30.00.

WE ARE GOING DIGITAL WITH THE MONTHLY NEWSLETTER: Please note, that the Crossroads Anglers monthly newsletter can be found on the website and that we will only mail out a copy of the newsletter if it is requested! In addition, we will send an e-mail reminder of the monthly meeting a week prior to the meeting so, please be sure to provide us with a current e-mail address. Beginning in January 2011, we will send the newsletter in the body of the e-mail rather than directing members to the message board. The Fly-fishing Show will be held in Marlboro, MA on Friday, Jan. 14 th, Saturday, Jan. 15 th and Sunday, Jan. 16 th. Check out the website for more information about this upcoming annual show. Volunteers Wanted: For the Bears Den Show on February 20, 2011 to tie flies at the Crossroads Anglers booth and chat with potential new members about the possibility of joining the club.
