2 Hello, President s Message I hope everyone enjoyed their summer, hard to believe it s over. But with the end of summer brings deer season, and there is nothing wrong with that. Although turnout was lower than past years, this year s show was still a success, all the hard work of the board throughout the year paid off and I think it showed. Thank you to our judges and all the seminar instructors, without all of you we would not have a show. Thank you to all who attended this year, competing or not you are all a part of what makes this show successful and we value your membership. I would also like to say thank you to all of our suppliers who joined us at the show this year and thank you to the members for supporting them. And lastly, a very big thank you to everyone who helped set up Thursday night and with the breakdown on Sunday, it is much appreciated. Looking ahead to next year preparations have already begun. The hotel is booked for June 6 th and 7 th 2014 and 2 out of 3 judges have been secured. If anyone has any ideas of seminars they might like to see, please send me an and we will do our best to make sure we have something for everyone. We are in the process of putting together a spring hands on workshop with Pete LaJoie. Stay tuned for more details. I want to thank all of the executive board for continuing on with me and having faith in me to keep this Association going. Thank you to all the Board of Directors, your hard work and dedication to the association is greatly appreciated and a contributing factor to the success of N.E.A.T. I would also like to welcome our newest B.O.D. George Reed, he will certainly be a fine addition to our team. Thank you for joining us George. Lastly, I would like to wish everyone a very safe and successful hunting season in the field as well as in your shops. I hope everyone enjoyed their summer and are now getting ready for the upcoming hunting and taxidermy season. It s hard to believe but it s already been 4 months since the show! Next year s show is already shaping well so get those pieces ready. The show will be here before we know it! It may not have been as successful financially as years past, but the level of talent sure seemed to increase this year! It's so exciting to think that we have not only State and National Champions but also World Champions within our organization!! With the arrival of the Fall Season, I hope that you all have successful hunting seasons and in turn, a profit in the shop! I hope to see you all at the upcoming workshop! 16 Whitetail Hands On Workshop with Pete Lajoie. North American Champion Whitetail nd in the World Large Gamehead March 15 th and 16 th 2014 Holiday Inn Enfield, CT $ Per person limited to only 15 people. Lunch will be included each day. Hotel Room Rate is $92 You are required to supply your own prepped cape, antlers, form, mounting stand and tools. Some supplies will be available such as clay and hide paste. A more exact list will be supplied later. THIS WILL NOT BE A BEGINNER S WORKSHOP A good knowledge of whitetail taxidermy will be necessary. A $100 deposit will be required.
