Santa for Seniors will be delivering the gifts to the residents at Big Meadows on December 22nd at 10am. Be sure to get an Additional Inventory Sheet paper from staff to fill out if you bring in anything new. It is a 1/4 sheet of green paper and can be turned in to the front office. Savanna s River City Reader Page 5 Connections Announcements Resident Christmas Party The resident Christmas party will be held Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Connections Unit common area. Family is encouraged to join us. Santa will be handing out presents to each resident and refreshments will be served. Christmas dinner will be served at 11:30 a.m. in the main dining room on Sunday, December 25th. Please RSVP by December 16 by calling 815.273.2238 with the number of guests, the cost is $5 per guest. Big Meadows Announcements continued... Be sure to mark the following dates on your calendar and come out to join us: December 8 at 9:30 is our community coffee and everyone is invited to come see our decorated trees. Thank you to everyone that supported Resident Council through ordering baked goods. It was very successful and the money will be used for special entertainment and events. Our resident Christmas Party will be December 22 at 2 pm. Santa for Seniors once again have a tree at Sullivan s for members of the community to adopt a resident. They will be delivering gifts on December 22 at 10 am. December 14 New Spirit Band will be having a Christmas concert at 6 pm in the dining room. December 21 Furry Friends will be visiting at 2pm in the front lobby. Thank you to everyone who donated Holiday Decorations to help brighten the holiday for our residents. The residents will have a tree displayed at the Festival of Trees in Savanna at the Museum and Cultural Center. Please show your support by visiting the event from December 3-11 and voting for our Silver and Gold Tree.
