2 Savanna s River City Reader Page 2 Big Meadows Highlights On Saturday April 16th, we finally had Big Meadows Annual Easter Egg Hunt! We had a delay due to weather conditions, but on that Saturday the weather could not have been any better. Residents and staff helped fill over 10,000 Easter eggs for the children to find. Below are pictures from that lovely day.

On Wednesday, April 20th we had a visit from the Furry Friends Traveling Petting Zoo. We always love our visits from Furry Friends and the animals are always able to put smiles on our residents faces. Shirley Eckman and the alpaca Ida Hebeler and the cat Frank Hernandez with the alpaca Joann Perez and the guinea pig Rosemary Shafer with the albino skunk. Marlene Farrey, Cody the dog, and the cat. We will be holding a 102nd birthday party for Mae Robbe on May 22nd from 2pm to 3:30pm. Everyone is invited to come and join us. We are still collecting bottle tops to build a bench for the Connections Unit Courtyard.
