The PTO has a lot of great events planned for this spring, and we want to keep you informed. We will discuss the following: FAMILY BINGO NIGHT on March 28. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the games will start at 6 p.m. Dinner will be available for $5/plate (includes pizza, salad, dessert and drink). Also, we will start accepting PTO officer nominations for the school year on this evening. MOTHER-DAUGHTER PAINTING PARTY will be April 28. You must RSVP for this event, as space is limited. Details will be sent home soon. FATHER-SON STEM DAY is Sunday, April 22 (tentative). Please look out for more details on the flyers to be sent home as the dates near. Get Ready for A Knight to Remember The annual school auction is gearing up for "A Knight to Remember" (formerly known as Boogie on the Beach). Step back into the Roaring 20s with live music, food and drinks. The event will be held April 20 at Oak Crest Mansion. Tickets are $35/each or $60/couple. Dress is cocktail attire, and 20s-themed costumes are encouraged. You can purchase tickets online through the Facebook page or parents may send money to the school in an envelope marked with the parent/child names and tickets will be sent home. The committee is also in need of auction items and sponsorships. A sponsorship form is available on the school website, so pass it around to all the businesses you know! And keep a lookout for more event details to come.
3 Support our School Brick Walkway - Are you looking for a way to honor your child or another loved one? Consider purchasing a brick with their name on it to add to the walkway in front of the school. It's truly a memorable gift that will last for years to come! Download the sponsorship form. Fleece Jackets with the SVS crest are now available and can be worn in the classrooms. You can pick up order forms at the front office or download it here. Proceeds benefit the enrollment/pr committees. Birthday Book Club is a great way to support our library and remember your child's special day! Feel free to wrap a new book, preferably library bound or hardback, and have your child present their book to the school at Prayer and Pledge on their birthday! A special sticker will be placed in the front of the book to honor your child s donation. Honor a Loved One with the Sanctuary Light - If you would like to have the light in the chapel burn in honor or in memory of a loved one and have them remembered at Prayer & Pledge for the week, please submit his/her name and the date you'd like the light to burn along with a $5 donation to the front office. This is a wonderful way to honor someone special. Rewards Programs - There are lots of ways to support our school with your everyday purchases. Check out all the opportunities on the school Website. You can also help by volunteering to hearing codes from Coke Bottle Tops. Pick up a bag from the front office (instructions included) or svspto@yahoo.com and we will send a bag of bottle caps home with your child next week. Thank you! Prayer and Pledge is held in the gym at 7:50 a.m., Monday through Thursday. All families are invited to attend.
