Five laps is equal to one mile. Monday-Friday 7 AM 8:30 PM NEW Lemoore RV Club Round-Up The Lemoore RV Club was formed in March of 2017, already with over 20 RV s and 40 persons in the club. The club organizes trip planning throughout the year to various camping sites in California for overnight stays. The club membership is $15 a year and is for RVers and campers of all types. 3 Family Fun Lemoore Lions Easter Egg Hunt Free Easter egg hunt for children two to twelve years. Please bring an Easter basket for your child to fill with eggs. Plenty of candy and fun. PLUS special prizes in select Easter eggs! Over 20,000 eggs provided by South Valley Community Church. Father/Daughter Hoedown Join us for the ninth annual Father-Daughter Dance. This year s theme is a hoedown. Fathers and daughters will enjoy a tri-tip dinner, take part in games, and of course dance with your special daughter. Photo included in the price. This event is getting so big that we have moved the location to the Recreation Center. 4 Phone: (559) Family Fun & Community Events The Lemoore Volunteers in Policing will be hosting Community Yard Sales at City Park in Lemoore on the first Saturday of each month beginning in March and running through October. Hours are 7 AM to 1 PM. Vendor spaces are $15. Vendors can register at the Recreation Department located at 721 W. Cinnamon Dr. No yard sale on 4th of July weekend Mother/Son Camp Out Join the adventure and camp out with your son at Lions Park. Bring your own camping supplies. Lemoore Recreation will provide a camp fire, s mores and breakfast the next morning. Ages Boys 4 12, with Mom $35 per mother and son $5 each additional child Date Saturday, April 28 Reg. 7 Family Fun (continued) Red Ribbon Celebration Participate in the annual Red Ribbon Celebration sponsored by the Lemoore Police Department and the Lemoore Parks & Recreation Department. We celebrate keeping our children drug free and motivated to do well in school. Games, costume contest and plenty of prizes! Ages All FREE Date Saturday, October 27 Lions Park Day Time Min/Max Saturday 8 AM 1 PM 10/1000 Veterans Day Parade Our annual Veteran s Day Parade hosted by American Legion Post 100 will be held on Sunday, November 11 on D Street in Lemoore. We would love to have your group, business or organization come up with a patriotic float, marching unit or automobile and participate in this event. Free to enter. 9 Phone (559) New Mother/Son Hoedown Join us for this year s Mother-Son Hoedown. Mother and sons will enjoy a tri-tip dinner, fun games, and a night full of dancing. This year s hoedown will be held at the Lemoore Recreation Center. Date September 15, 2018 Time Registration deadline 6:30 PM 9:30 PM $50 per couple ($15 per additional child) August 31, 2018 Lemoore Rec Center New Senior Citizen s Celebrate your Senior Prom all over again. This very special event will give our Senior Citizens a chance to dress up, have dinner, get their picture taken and dance!. $10 per couple includes dinner. One part of the couple must be 55 or older. If you do not have a significant other, bring you child or grandchild or a special friend. 11 Phone (559) The Lemoore Parks & Recreation Department offers youth a safe, well-chaperoned night out with Club 34 (3rd and 4th grade), Club Live (5th and 6th grade), and The Hangout (7th and 8th grade) dances. Professional DJ, light shows, dance contests and a game room make these dances one of the most popular events offered by our department. All dances are lock-in children are not permitted to leave the dance until the dance is over. No gang affiliated clothing. School ID is required for all dances. A concession stand is available with items ranging in cost from 50 to $1.50. Club 34-3rd and 4th grade Let your third and fourth grader enjoy a night out in a safe and fun environment. The DJ will entertain your little ones with games, their favorite music and group dances. This is a lock in dance and children will not be able to leave until the dance is over. Send your letters to the Lemoore Parks & Recreation Department at 721 West Cinnamon Drive, Lemoore, CA 93245, or stop by to drop the letter off. In your envelope, include your letter to Santa and a selfaddressed stamped envelope for Santa to send the letter back. Santa has a lot of letters to go through and this will save him valuable time.
