The Weekly and the Bachelor Gulch Club Website provide up-to-date information on Club Events, important Club Information, and links to local happenings. Member Identification All Bachelor Gulch Club Members (including children ages 22 and under) are issued a Club Photo I.D with a dated membership sticker. Bachelor Gulch Club Members must present their dated Club Photo I.D. to obtain access to any of the Bachelor Gulch Club facilities and to receive the benefits and charging privileges of Bachelor Gulch Club Membership. Zach s Cabin Executive Chef David Gutowski Chef Gutowski is from Peekskill, New York. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and has spent the last 11 years as the executive chef at Grouse Mountain Grill in Beaver Creek earning a stellar reputation for his cuisine. Chef Gutowski has held the position of sous chef at Tramonti, Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch, and Beano s Cabin among others. Chef Gutowski has been a featured guest chef at the James Beard House in New York City and Aspen Food & Wine. Join us in welcoming Chef David Gutowski to the Zach s Cabin Culinary Team. Beaver Creek s Haymeadow Park Beaver Creek Resort builds on its reputation as the world s best luxury family resort by debuting a second dedicated learning area in 2018-2019. Jon Resnick 2018-19 Winter Lift access Each Bachelor Gulch Club Resident and Non-Resident Membership receives two annual unrestricted lift passes valid around the world at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, Afton Alps, Mount Sunapee, Stevens Pass, Crested Butte, Mt. Brighton, Perisher, Whistler Blackcomb, Okemo, Wilmot, and Stowe, 7 total ski days at Telluride, 7 total ski days at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, 5 total ski days at Hakuba Valley in Japan, and access to 30 European Resorts. In order to access the European resorts, please contact the Bachelor Gulch Club Concierge. Each pass holder will receive six Buddy Tickets priced at $129 each for the 2018-19 season, and six Ski-With-A-Friend discounted tickets that are issued by any Vail Resorts ticket office on the day the tickets will be used. The pass holder must be present to redeem both Buddy and ski-with-a-friend tickets. Ski-With-A-Friend tickets vary throughout the season. Skip the Line, Buy On Line: Purchase discounted lift tickets for family and friends online seven days in advance. Lift tickets are available for purchase day of through mobile devices at BeaverCreek.com/EpicDay. Winter 2018-19 Chairlift Schedule: The Bachelor Gulch Express (Chair 16) Hours of Operation: November 21 - December 16 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. December 17 - April 7 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Note: Lift openings and closures are subject to change. Timbers Bachelor Gulch Members receive daily lift tickets that are distributed by Timbers Bachelor Gulch upon check-in. Timbers lift tickets are only valid at Vail and Beaver Creek. Reminder: lift tickets and ski passes are non-transferrable.

Quantum Leap Workshops January 7-9 Take your skiing to another energy level with Beaver Creek s finest coaches. This three-day workshop is designed for Advanced Intermediate to Expert Skiers and will include a video review of your skiing. This event is hosted exclusively for Bachelor Gulch Club, Beaver Creek Club, and Alpine Club Members and Guests. Contact the BGC Concierge to sign-up. Salvation Army Gift Wrap FAM December 17 Each year the Bachelor Gulch Club adopts a family through the Vail Valley Salvation Army. We encourage members to donate items for the family and join us to wrap the gifts. Skate Ski Saturday March 9 Work on your technique and get a great workout cross country skiing at the Vail Nordic Center. Ski Jam & Toast FAM February 7, February 21 & March 7 Don t miss breakfast at Zach s Cabin! Ski Jammers meet at the bottom of Chair 16 for fresh morning corduroy or powder! After a few runs together, we ll join Alpine Club Members at Zach s Cabin for an exclusive and scrumptious breakfast prepared by Chef David Gutowski and his team. NEW! Skin & Ski Backcountry Tour with Paragon Guides January 25 & February 22 Bachelor Gulch Club and Beaver Creek Club Members will together venture in the backcountry on Meadow Mountain (Jan 25) and Vail Pass (Feb 22) with Paragon Guides. This is a full day of exploring on touring skis with skins and cutting fresh lines in the backcountry! Snowcat Skiing @ Keystone February 12 Keystone has some of the most unbelievable backcountry terrain and the best part is that it is practically in our back yard. We will head to Keystone and ski fresh powder all day. All intermediate and advanced snowboarders and skiers are welcome to join. Transportation, equipment, guides, and lunch are provided. Talon s Challenge March 4 Over 26,000 vertical feet of Black Diamond and Double Black Diamond runs await on Beaver Creek s legendary World Cup Birds of Prey downhill course, Grouse Mountain, and in Larkspur Bowl. Conquer all 14 runs and earn your spot on the Talon s Wall-of-Fame.

Bachelor Gulch Club s private on-mountain dining cabin is situated at the juncture of Cabin Fever and Stirrup ski runs on Beaver Creek Mountain. The classic mountain lodge architecture, integrating black-moss stone, and half-log timbers offer a splendid view from every table. The soaring windows in the main dining room frame views of the Gore Range while the crackling fireplace creates a comfortable atmosphere. Zach s Cabin Lunch Reservation Policies Reservations are strongly recommended. Reservations may be made for a maximum of eight people per reservation. Parties of 10 or more people can be accommodated before 11:30 a.m. and after 1:30 p.m. Holiday Reservations Due to the amount of reservation requests during the Christmas week holiday, members may make a maximum of three advance reservations for the holiday period of December 21 - January 1 with a maximum of eight people per member family. Reservations will be held for 15 minutes. If a party is more than 15 minutes late, Zach s Cabin cannot guarantee that a table will be available. All members of the dining party must be present before being seated. Members must always accompany their guests and extended family members. Parties of six or more that arrive with less than the reserved number of guests will be charged $25 for each unused reserved seat. Cancellations may be left on voice mail, however, reservations are not confirmed until you have spoken with a host. If reservations are not cancelled by 10:00 a.m. the day of the reservation, a $25 per person charge will be assessed to the reservation holder s Club account. A community table is provided for Bachelor Gulch Club members on a drop-in, space-available basis. Drop-in dining is also available at the bar. Members must present their Club Photo I.D. with current membership sticker when dining for lunch. Snowcat Tr ansportation for Lunch Snowcat transportation is available by reservation only, for members and guests who would like to dine at Zach s for lunch but do not wish to ski. Space is limited. The snowcat pickup and drop off, Zach s Landing, is located at the landing area above Timbers Bachelor Gulch. Snowcat departure, Zach s Landing to Zach s Cabin: 12:00 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. daily. Snowcat return, Zach s Cabin to Zach s Landing: 12:30 p.m., 1:45 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. daily. Please use Village Transportation from your residence directly to Zach s Landing. These rugged bachelors supported themselves by logging and raising cattle, chickens, and hay. Gunder s offers a quick dining experience with the beautiful ambiance of Zach s Cabin featuring a grand buffet, a limited a la carte menu, and full-service bar. Gunder s will be open Christmas Week and Presidents Day Weekend. The dining room is available on a drop-in basis and reservations are not accepted. Please dress warmly and wear appropriate shoes to access the sleigh in the snow. A $5 per person sleigh fee will automatically be added to your bill. A children s menu is offered nightly. Reservations are required. The Dining Reciprocity Program Continues! The Bachelor Gulch Club, Beaver Creek Club, and Game Creek Club have established a reciprocity program allowing Club Members to enjoy lunch at other private on-mountain fine dining restaurants (Zach s Cabin, Allie s Cabin, Beano s Cabin, and Game Creek Club). To keep this great program in place, please follow the policies outlined below: Bachelor Gulch Club Members may dine at the reciprocal restaurants this winter for lunch the following number of times: Allie s Cabin 10 times Beano s Cabin 10 times Game Creek Club 6 times Reservations are required and will be accepted a maximum of two weeks prior to the requested date. Reservations must be made through the Bachelor Gulch Club Concierge. Please do not call individual restaurants directly, as they will refer you back to the Bachelor Gulch Club Concierge. A maximum of eight people per table, and four tables per day, per facility, may be reserved for dining utilizing the Reciprocity Program. You may charge your lunch to your Club Account or pay by credit card or cash. Reservations made and not honored will be subject to the club s cancellation policy. Any cancellation/no-show fees will be billed to the Member s Club Account. At 21,000 square feet, this immersive sanctuary includes 19 treatment rooms, a luxurious nail salon, men s, women s and co-ed grottos with steam rooms, saunas and both hot and cold plunge pools. The Fitness Center offers a variety of weight machines, cardiovascular equipment, fitness classes, as well fitness instruction. This is the premier location to relax and rejuvenate. The minimum age for services and access to The Ritz Carlton Spa is 18. Members must present their Club Photo I.D. to use the Spa and Fitness Center facilities. Members receive a 20% discount on Spa and Fitness Center services, and retail products. Members may charge spa treatments and products to the Member s Club Account by presenting their Club Photo I.D. Please make changes or cancellations within 24 hours to avoid a full payment for the spa service. Lockers are available for use while in the Spa and Fitness Center. Passes are issued by BGC Concierge upon request. The Ritz-Carlton Fitness Center Open 24 hours Group Wellness Class Schedules are available in the Fitness Center. Pets must be potty trained, remain on their leashes, and be with their owner at all times. Pets are not allowed at Club Activities and Events unless otherwise noted.
