Forty-two (42) former Ragin Cajuns have advanced to the National Football League, including seven on 2007 opening day rosters. Anthony Clement is the longest-tenured Cajun currently in the NFL as the offensive lineman finished his 10th season in 2007. HOME GROWN HEROES Although the Cajuns rely on a bevy of athletes from all across the country, some of the biggest names to come through the program have been from right here in the Pelican State. Louisiana talent has been responsible for 32 All-Big West recipients, 25 All- honorees and 18 All- (all first team selections) honors. Last season, seven of the Cajuns nine All- players were born in Louisiana; Michael Desormeaux (New Iberia), Drew Edmiston (Lafayette), Tyrell Fenroy (LaPlace), Chris Fisher (Lafayette), Grant Fleming (Lafayette), Korey Raymond (LaPlace) and Antwyne Zanders (Kentwood).
